It's wild that all places that serve others don't treat all patrons and customers the same, and they don't realize who might be in front of them. I do reviews on everywhere I go and being in the top 10% of Google reviewers in the world and the prize of the worst review so far goes to this place!! #1 we come in on a Wednesday morning no one else is in there, but they wanted to seat us near the bathrooms in the back. No, we sat where it was brighter in front. A fly was in there and bothering us the entire time with staff doing nothing about it.
#2 The waitresses looked miserable with no smiles what-so-ever.
#3 They did not want to make any orders flexible or add anything đ and the three of us only got 1 mediocre meal, and 1 drink but the total was 200!? I knew it was going to cost more than if I bought breakfast groceries for the entire week and not even taste as good as if I made it. Plus, the horrible service to top it of was definitely not worth it!! đ
Then during payment we rounded UP everything but still someone can't count because the bartender sends the waitress back to say we are short a "quart" lol đ, a quart in old world speak is a quarter... really, REALLY!? you came to ask for your 25 cents towards your 10% tip you add to the bill which really if it wasn't added I would've done 5% though I'm typically giving 22% for EXCELLENT FRIENDLY SERVICE and 20% to all other great places... but being made to pay 10% explains the poor service. Management needs to rehire new wait staff or retrain and CHANGE the receipt to not obligate a tip, they must EARN their tip... I come to any restaurant to be served, otherwise I rather eat my item cooking. Change to making suggestions of 10% = , 15% = ___ and 20% = _ at the bottom of each receipt is better because great new staff would be much better tipped... & those who slack may only get the 10% or less if they were terrible. Either way, tipping should be the option or decision of the patron. Granted, there are patrons not raised right in the restaurant culture but as a person who formally worked in service, you get the review and tip you earn!
I won't be going back there and it wasn't even me who first said that. My 2 friends said that before we even were asked for a "quart" which we reluctantly but sarcastically just gave a dollar and said... yup that's the last dollar we spend there. Maybe perhaps in a couple years if I see there's new great reviews, then I'd consider it. Otherwise, just like other breakfast spots are closed now, this will be their fate, too, if they keep this nonsense up. đ
Look at my other reviews to see how...

Read moreTried to avoid writing this but due to no communication with the management it leaves me little choice.. Whilst on holiday in May in Antigua we stopped for breakfast at Sips and Tips which was very enjoyable and great coffee. I noticed the cigars, after doing some research on pricing etc online I decided to purchase a box (25) of Romeo & Juliet Churchill cigars, the box was on in front of me but the assistant left with them returning in approx 10 minutes, giving no reason. I paid & went about my business. On return to the UK I tried the cigars with a friend who is more knowledgeable of cigars then me, straight away he noticed something was not right with the cigars..on checking the label he found it to be a different print & size to a genuine one based on a online picture, cigar itself was no Cuban or if it was a much inferior one to a R&J.. On checking the box barcode via an internet app , it was the wrong barcode for the cigars I had been sold. Knowingly or unknowingly I had been sold a different product to the one I believed I had purchased...... Once again if the shop had responded to my communication I would probably be not having to write this as it could be a genuine mistake or I would like...
