It’s a nice little hideaway restaurant in the countryside. I love the ambience and set up.
My dinner date and I had 3 course meals - both appetizers were tasty, my entree was really good but unfortunately my date couldn’t say the same. The lamb was extremely fatty and it lacked taste. Both deserts however were delicious.
I took a star for 2 reasons:
the cocktails were poorly made. All the drinks we ordered that night weren’t mixed well. My last attempt at a drink for the night was a Shirley Temple, because all the alcohol options I had before were not properly mixed, and even that they managed to screw up. I am assuming that the regular bartender was off for the night because it didn’t make sense that all the drinks were bad (there was another group who dined that night who had the same experience with the drinks as well - so I know that it wasn’t just us.
I went to that restaurant during Restaurant Week and I was really looking forward to getting my Restaurant week passport and getting my stamp and they didn’t have any more passports. That was a real bummer.
But, I must say, our waitress for the night (Princess) was absolutely perfect! Her customer service was spot on and she is def an asset to the establishment.
