What a joke!
Having just arrived in Argentina, famed for its quality beef, we opted to have dinner at this parilla, to enjoy a proper coal grilled steak.
The waitress was fantastic, explained all the beef cuts and options in much detail and with care, and we placed our order. We were the only guests in the restaurant and, as we were now excitedly expecting a good piece of coal grilled meat, we ordered one of their better bottles of red wine as this was the appropriate choice to accompany the meal.
Just after the bottle had been opened, and we were about to start drinking it, the poor waitress returns to inform us that the restaurant had no meat! She had not been told by the owner, that was manning the front desk, of this. So after having made all the effort to explain the options, she had to bring us this embarrassing news. We felt so bad that management had let her down. She asked if we would like to order anything else besides meat, which we said no as steak was what we were looking for. We also said that we would like to return the wine or at least pay by the glass as the reason for us ordering it in the forst place was with the expectation of being served steak. She said she would ask the owner, who blatantly refused to listen to logic or reason. Instead, he immediately threatened to call the police.
A parilla that does not have meat must be the most embarrassing mismanagement of a restaurant I can think of, not to mention not having the courtesy to inform their staff of this to avoid embarrassment. And the total lack of respect for the customer and using that threat speaks volumes of the lack of character, professionalism and common decency of the owner.
I hope that the waitress finds a better suited restaurant deserving of het talent, commitment and kindness.

The tomato sauce was as basic as they come and was cold. The portion was really small. Honestly can’t really recommend it at all ever. It wasn’t stupid expensive but unless they charged me less then 4000 pesos I would never be okay with it. I ordered also an empanada because the portion was so small. It was the smallest empanada I’ve seen. For the price I expected it to be double the size. Had to take a photo cause it looked like a joke. Serving staff was nice but kept forgetting what we ordered and we had to keep reminding them. They even debated some things we ordered didn’t include sauces/dressings and only stopped arguing it once the owner pointed out we were right since it was written in the menu. Read moreLa verdad fuimos a esta parrilla entre tantas porque vimos buenas calificaciones. Llegamos y estabamos solo nosotros. En el lugar hacia un frio terrible pese a tener prendida una turbina que intentaba calefaccionar el lugar sin éxito. Ademas largaba una especie de humo o algo que hacia llorar los ojos. Esperamos 40 minutos una parrilla para dos donde nunca nos llegó el pollo que incluía, y además la carne nos preguntaron si la queriamos a punto, y vino cruda. Mandamos a la parrilla nuevamente el vacio y otras cosas que la verdad eran pura grasa. Nunca prendieron el resto de las calefacciones existentes (aire frio calor y estufa a gas) en el lugar ya que en reiteradas ocaciones le dijimos al mozo que seguiamos teniendo frio. La parrilla que venia con carbones al poco tiempo se apagó. Al reclamar el pollo nos trajeron dos patas que si estaban cocidas. El mozo nos preguntó al pedir la cuenta si queria que nos envuelva los sobrantes, le dijimos que no que le agradeciamos (era pura grasa lo que dejamos). Al retirarnos dejamos nuestra mala experiencia en el facebook del restaurante (como corresponde) y Gonzalo Romero en lugar de pedirnos disculpas y aceptar las criticas como algo para corregir, empezó a mentir y a discutir sobre lo que expusimos, cuando esperabamos algo mejor de su parte.
