AUTOCTONA — Restaurant in Comuna de Las Rabonas

Íbamos de camino al dique la viña y nos dio hambre, googleamos referencias y encontramos que “autóctono” restaurante era bueno. Nos sentamos, hermoso lugar por dentro, nos trajeron menús y ordenamos. De bebida una limonada con frutos rojos: excelente. Yo tenía miedo que se excedieran de azúcar, pero estaba muy bien equilibrada. Punto a favor 👍. Luego ordenamos de entrada un queso grille que viene con una pasta de tomate disecado y una pequeña ensalada: excelente! Muy preciso y sabrosa la combinación en boca. Altamente recomendado! Otro punto por eso 👏👏. Como plato principal ordenamos una hamburguesa, la pedimos well done: muy buena! Muy sabrosa y justa. Otro punto por rica! 👏👏👏. Tuvimos un pequeño detalle con la atención: cuando yo pregunté si nos podían dar agua caliente (para tomar mates en el camino) la mesera nos dijo que ellos no cargaban termos, que en la cocina no tenían espacio para calentar agua, por lo que no nos iban a dar agua caliente porque era una molestia. Muy extraña respuesta de parte de la mesera, muy mala onda para decir y para atender. Quito dos puntos por eso. Cuando uno va por turista espera amabilidad, pedir agua caliente luego de habernos sentado, ordenado y pagado la cuenta con propina, y que nos la nieguen diciéndonos que no cargan termos porque en la cocina no tienen espacio para calentar agua, nos hizo sentir que estábamos molestando. Conclusión: muy lindo y rico lugar, los precios están bien por la calidad de la comida, pero el servicio de atención no acompaña. Lo recomiendo, si! Pero no volvería.

We sat down, beautiful place inside, they brought us menus and we ordered. To drink a lemonade with red fruits: excellent. We had a small detail with the attention: when I asked if they could give us hot water (to drink mate on the way) the waitress told us that they did not fill up thermoses, that in the kitchen they did not have space to heat water, so they did not They were going to give us hot water because it was a nuisance. Very strange response from the waitress, very rude to say and to attend. I take two points off for that. When you go as a tourist you expect kindness, asking for hot water after sitting down, ordering and paying the bill with a tip, and being denied it by telling us that they don't fill up thermoses because they don't have space in the kitchen to heat water, made us feel that we were bothering. First time the meat was overcooked, but the potatoes delicious. Second time the pizza was perfect. Third time was not (too thin. I dont enjoy cracker pizza). Forth time the chicken breath was full of bones. Last time they refused to gave us a glass of water (we don't drink from plastic bottles) arguing non potable water in the building. How they cook, and wash the salads? With bottled water? To finish, they overcharged the pizza (as if all ham when half was vegetarian). Next time we will ask all ham and give it to the dog... Oh, wait, probably should finally learn from the experience and look for other alternatives even on times...

Lugar. El lugar es acogedor. Es necesario reservar para conseguir mesa afuera, al menos en temporada alta.

Comida. Pedimos una bondiola braseada y una trucha. Ambos platos muy ricos. El tamaño de las porciones es correcto. Hay buenas opciones en vinos. La comida demoró bastante. El mozo nos sugirió para una próxima vez, que solicitemos el menú al momento de reservar para así esperar menos.

Precios. Los precios de los platos rondan entre los 600 y 800 pesos en febrero 2021. Considerando la elaboración de los platos, el precio considero que es correcto. Los vinos están entre 800 y 2000.

Atención. El mozo que nos atendió tuvo muy buenos modos y se tomó el trabajo de explicarnos sobre los vinos que ofrecen.

Conclusión. Los platos estan por encima de la media de Mina Clavero y zona. El precio es correcto. Sugiero llamar antes así te envían la carta, para así elegir el plato antes de asistir y no esperar. Es un lugar para visitar si se desea comer algo más que una pizza o hamburguesa (que por cierto...
