We arrived late at Tito’s just after lunch service and were told that very little food was available. We cheerfully accepted what we were offered and Tito served us dishes of delicious homemade sausage and a platter of meat and cheese and the most incredible ribs from the grill. We were brought fabulous meat empanadas that I believe his wife made. He also brought us out a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that he had made himself.

On top of the food being excellent, we felt like we had been invited to a private family party. The parilla is a pretty patio garden attached to Tito’s house. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and lunch ended up in a big sing a long. We were lucky to have arrived on the day that a famous local musician was having lunch. We never wanted it to end. Fuimos con mi esposo el fin de semana pasado a la parrilla de Tito, llegamos justamente porque nos llamó la atención la cantidad de comentarios positivos. Lo primero que debo decir es que la amabilidad de los anfitriones es maravillosa, ni que decir de Tito que está en todas y te atiene como si fueras uno de la familia. No teníamos reservación y nos acomodaron un lugar en el patio que es súper lindo, te siente como en la casa de un tío que anda por ahí haciendo el asado y trayendote vino a cada rato.

Las entradas estuvieron divinas, todo muy casero. Luego viene el plato fuete y te van sirviendo asado a demanda y hasta que no puedas más (amamos eso), el vino viene incluido y es de la propia cosecha de Tito, así que más familiar imposible, estaba rico, un malbec sin pretenciones. La costilla estaba exquisita, el matambre en su punto y el chinchulín el mejooor que hemos comido en nuestra vida. (Aplausos de pie). Tuvimos una muy buena charla con Tito quien con esmero le dedica tiempo a cada grupo de comensales. Nos pareció Excelso! Al final te ofrecen postre, también casero (Flan, helado o torta)

Nos fuimos con la barriga llena y el corazón bien contento con la comida, la atención y el precio que para todo lo que comes y bebes está más que bien.

Sin duda ya queremos volver pronto.
