If only all hostels were like Antigua Residencia. We (family of 4 - 14 and 16 yrs) were travelling in a campervan around Argentina and came upon this little gem in the Wine area of Maipú. We were looking to either stay in our motorhome rental in the grounds of Antigua Residencia or perhaps rent one of Laura's (owner) rooms. Unfortunately due to local regulations (her hostel license is only for people 18+) she was unable to accommodate us. However she was very happy to help us with our laundry which we desperately needed to wash and we decided we'd have lunch there while we waited for our laundry. Laura showed me the rooms at Antigua Residencia - a big room with bunk beds and a small double room. The rooms were very nice and clean. The double room was pretty small but very cute in an old winery. The communal washroom and showers are modern and extremely clean. And the good size pool which she allowed our kids to use is a real bonus. We had a lovely lunch there ... with a nice bottle of rose and to top it off ... Laura's mom's homemade apricot cake ... deeeelish! The location is great with a couple of wineries within biking distance. Laura recommended some great bodegas. Overall I would totally recommend staying here and enjoying the...

The rooms, bathrooms and common areas are super clean and nice.
