We stayed there for one night, it having the perk of offering accommodation within a working winery. However, we didn't get a tour, didn't need one.
The rooms are very nice looking out onto the inner garden, that's nicely tended. Beds are comfortable, there's enough room for clothes and other space for storage, the bathrooms are well appointed and have a window. The parking is on the other side of the road.
They don't offer cooked dinner (understandably) since there are very few rooms. They do, however, offer to prepare cold cuts or a salad or whatever you might want, that doesn't require instant on-site preparation in the evening. We had a salad that waited for us ready made and covered in the dining room. We took it out onto the covered terrace and enjoyed it al fresco while it rained all by ourselves, arrive we were the only overnight guests that evening. Beautiful!
The best part was that we were given access to a fridge fully stocked with wines they usually use for tastings. So, we enjoyed a tasting of some 8 wines (included in the cost of the accommodation/ dinner), at our own pace and choice, being able to compare the wines next to each other, unrushed. Will never forget this evening.
The only downlet was breakfast, when the rushed waiter kinda counted two slices of ham and cheese each, bread, jam and butter at discretion, coffee and tea, too.
But - despite the fact that the cooks were there and obviously had nothing to do (talking and walking at ease through the garden), we couldn't order any egg or anything else. That was it. They also didn't like us taking the plates to the terrace, which we did anyway, it was far too beautiful outside 🤷♂️. Staff at the reception was very kind, the translate app helped 😉.

I VISITED Terrazas de los Andes winery last year and while I didn't stay overnight in the guesthouse I did get a tour of the property and have lunch in the dining room...so I figured it was worth an entry as no one else has written anything about the estate.||It was an idyllic property and I remember nothing but peace and quiet, and sunshine on a perfect May afternoon.||The estate has a visitor centre and private tasting room (the room would make any interiour decorator jealous it was so stylish) in addition to the winery and barrel room, and the guesthouse is in one corner surrounded by a lush lawn and with a wide veranda...so you are really part of the property if you stay.||There are six simple but stylish bedrooms, most with french doors that open to the veranda or garden, and two indoor sitting areas as well as the big dining room.||It would be the perfect place to base yourself if you were looking to explore Mendoza's vineyards as you could relax at the guesthouse and walk the vines between jaunts to visit surrounding estates.||We had lunch in the guesthouse and the food and wine was AMAZING, and the staff were so friendly.||If I went back to Mendoza this is where I would stay, and my batteries would be fully recharged...

Reseña sobre el hotel y la visita a Terrazas de Los Andes La estructura del hotel está extremadamente cuidada y mantenida con una atención al detalle que deja claro su pertenencia al prestigioso grupo LVMH. La bienvenida fue muy positiva: el personal en la entrada es atento y siempre disponible, la habitación que me asignaron en la planta superior, en una esquina, era espaciosa, con un colchón grueso y una ducha confortable. El desayuno se prepara al momento con productos frescos y bien presentados. Un aspecto muy valorado es la posibilidad de beber vino prácticamente ilimitado que dejan en el refrigerador del comedor, además de poder pedir cenas frías para consumir de forma autónoma. La estructura está muy cuidada, especialmente en los espacios exteriores como el jardín, pero también en el interior.
Dicho esto, el precio es bastante elevado para la región y creo que merecería un poco más de atención en pequeños detalles, que ya he señalado a la gerente presente, quien agradeció los comentarios. Por ejemplo: falta una cortina opaca en una ventana, por lo que se despierta muy temprano con la luz; el jardinero comienza a trabajar a las 7:30 justo debajo de la ventana; las puertas interiores son muy finas y se escuchan fácilmente los ruidos del pasillo; además, en el baño se perciben olores desagradables y los marcos muestran signos de desgaste, suciedad y pintura dañada.
Para resumir, la experiencia en el hotel es buena y especialmente adecuada para parejas que buscan privacidad, dado que hay pocas habitaciones y no hay personal durante la noche, lo que hace que el ambiente sea similar al de una villa privada bien cuidada, con vino a disposición (aunque de calidad media-baja).
La visita a la bodega Terrazas de Los Andes fue realizada de forma atenta, aunque no muy profunda desde el punto de vista enológico. La degustación se realizó en una sala muy bien organizada y estructurada, con una pared de vidrio que muestra la zona de producción. Los vinos son interesantes, pero se percibe rápidamente que la empresa está orientada a la producción masiva. Estos vinos se encuentran prácticamente en cualquier lugar de Argentina, desde kioscos hasta supermercados, lo cual es un punto en contra para quienes buscan algo más distintivo. La calidad es media, así como los blancos y los dulces, que resultan bastante industriales, a pesar de un packaging y una estrategia de marketing muy fuertes que merecerían productos de mayor nivel.
En conclusión, el hotel ofrece una buena experiencia de alojamiento a un precio alto y con algunos pequeños defectos por mejorar, mientras que la bodega, aunque interesante, está dirigida a un público que busca vinos de producción masiva y no particularmente exclusivos. En la región existen muchas otras opciones, muchas veces a costos menores y con productos de calidad...
