What a great dining experience! Picture yourself on a farm, sitting outside enjoying wine and the sunset while horses play in the fields and you’re served an amazing meal by your own private chef. Now stop imagining and go to Quinchos De Ortubia to actually experience it.
Maybe we just timed it perfectly, but we were the only customers on a Wednesday evening and had a great 3hr experience. The owner Silvina greeted us with open arms as we got out of our car and treated us I like we were long lost friends or family. A very casual experience with a unique feeling of having your own private chef. Our waiter Gabrielle (sp?) helped us translate into English and had a perfect balance of letting us enjoy our time and checking in to see if we needed anything. The meal was great but the surroundings and staff made it awesome.
My only regret is that we didn’t stop by before our last day in San Rafael. We would have loved to have a second meal at Quinchos De Ortubia. Please WhatsApp for a reservation. You...
Read moreWe loved this little place! My husband and I went with our four kids (15, 13, 9, and 6) and it was perfect. It is a very small operation, but Silvina (the chef/owner) came out to explain the menu while our younger kids played in their very kid-friendly yard. It was relaxing and easy to bring our family there, but we noticed more couples on dates as it got later. We really enjoyed all of our food, especially the salmon salad appetizer and the carne en masa. We went back a second time, and would happily go a third time if we were staying in SR longer. ...
