This charming old railway station (not in service since 1977) now hosts a cafe and a restaurant, with very good coffee and food and a unique setting where to enjoy them. Service is friendly and quick. Located about 100 km from Salta, it is an excellent stop on the way to Cafayate, as it is located at the starting point for the "Quebrada de las Conchas" (The Shells Gorge), a 60-kilometer stretch of multicolored rock formation and a demanding drive.
