Doña Azucena — Restaurant in Municipio de Salta

If you are a foreigner RUN AWAY !! They had very bad treatment with me while i came at 3.35 they said we close at 3.30 . While the restaurant was still OPEN ! I said ok but in Google it’s says 4pm !! Anyways he was explaining that they close the kitchen at 3.30 and the restaurant door at 4pm. Ok… I respected that and then I asked him if I can stay sitting for 15 min as the Uber was coming he said no it’s not possible 😂😂 while it’s was. 3.40pm The lady at the back said no we need to close the door now 😅 u can wait your taxi outside

Anyways very bad experience and I will certainly never come back again and definitely don’t recommend this...

Hay dos casas separadas, una hace delivery de empanadas y la otra para ir a comer.

Fuimos a comer, empanadas de todo tipo y asado de tira. Las empanadas ricas pero tranca, muy pequeñas, la que mas me gusto es la de matambre que es estilo tucumana, carne cortada a cuchillo y sin papa. El asado regular nomas, parecía carne congelada lo que afecta al sabor. Igualmente estaba rica y tierna.

El servicio malo, había un solo mozo (muy predispuesto) pero totalmente desbordado para la cantidad de gente.

Me quede con ganas de probar el pastel de choclo y el pacu, todo es casero.

$26mil 4 empanadas, un asado de tira y un agua grande.

Lunch today at Dona Azucena was fantastic. Best tamales and empanadas we’ve ever had and we’ve tried a lot from a lot of different places. Excellent salad too. Great service and really nice open...
