LA MISIONERITA PARADOR TURISTICO — Restaurant in Municipio de San Ignacio

Visited this restaurant during an evening. The restaurant was dead empty there was no one and I was the only one dining in the restaurant throughout the meal. There wasn't much to choose from the menu was quite limited. I didn't really have a good impression of the place because the staff looked very restless and there were too many flies flying around. It's the only restaurant in Argentina that I encountered houseflies! Ordered a fried fish and it was served pretty promptly. The portion is decent to generous but however the fish didn't seem to be hot or like just out from the pan. It was just warm. I asked for some ice for my water but the staff did not bring it to me. I walked to the counter to ask for ice again and then I saw this stack of dirty plates all left behind the counter which has a small opening to the kitchen. There were a lot of flies hovering around those plates, and I was thinking it could be the plates which were left there since afternoon as I seemed to be the first customer for dinner. Flan was quite nice though, probably the only thing I enjoyed in the restaurant. Seriously I hope they can work something on the cleanliness of the place and wash...

Un lugar desagradable para mi ..al ser un parador en la ruta baja mucha gente de los micros que son varios los que te llevan a este lugar, más si vas en contingente ,se te acerca la gente de la zona a ofrecerte sus artesanías ,una persona de este lugar los echa peor a que perros..siendo que la mayoría son niños..la misma atiende en la caja de una manera bastante maleducada ,ya que si le preguntas algo te ignora completamente..cuando iba desayune ahí lamentablemente..el desayuno es normal ,no es caro actualmente sale $90 por persona ,la atención de los mozos regular y la atención de la caja muy mala ,no es un lugar agradable ni amable..no volvería a ir..otro detalle es que te obligan a comprar el almuerzo de contingente que es bastante caro ,si usted quiere pagar con débito o crédito tiene 10% de recargo,ya que sino no se justifica el lugar que te brindan para parar y el baño..esto me pasó cuando quise comprar un sándwich y me lo informo una moza del lugar..que la dueña no permite la compra de algo rápido como un sándwich porque no tiene ganancias, otro detalle para el agua caliente hay una máquina afuera para la que hay que tener 5 monedas de un peso..en la cual como en este parador hay apagones constantemente rara...

The only customers are brought to them via an arrangement with bus tour companies. Low quality cheap food for a very HIGH ridiculous price! I do not recommend - go elsewhere unless you have no choice! $$$$$...
