I took my GF dinner at La Estancia Parrilla because he had good reviews. Everything was fine, nice setting, pretty nice food, good house wine and a waiter that seemed genuinely nice. We enjoyed our meal and everything was just fine. I asked for the bill and the waiter brought me a legit printed receipt. I checked it and all was fine. As I was paying cash, the waiter approached me to tell me I had to add 20% for service... I nicely told him that I was only paying for the printed bill and that he could get lost. Of course I did not leave a tip since he tried to trick me with a classic tourist scam. It is fortunate that I am quite a seasoned traveler and I have been in Argentina for allready more than 2 months. It's deplorable to try to scam innocent tourists as it leads to a bad review and less business for that nice restaurant. I am still giving it 2 stars because honestly the food was good and the price was really decent, without that waiter and its 2 cents trick I would have give it 5 stars so up to management to make sure that kind of damaging behavior does not happen again. Now that you know why I gave 2 stars I still would recommend the place for a nice evening but beware of the waiter and double check...

Bifi de chorizo is the best I have ever had and was really perfectly done , I've been eating beef since my childhood and I know what good beef and meat are, and this one was one of the best . Cuando entramos, todos los camareros se reían y se burlaban en lugar de ir a la puerta e invitarnos a pasar. Al parecer, el dueño de la caja registradora fue grosero cuando le pregunté dónde estaba el baño. Y por último la “”comida. pedimos un bife chorizo que no tenía nada que ver con un bife chorizo, los chinchulines estaban quemados y tenían un sabor amargo, el puré de papa estaba terrible, lo único bueno que encontré en este restaurante fue una Quilmes bien fría.
