This place is amazing! I spoke to Franco who is the son of the man who started the bakery. They had a fire in 2021 but they have rebuilt it into what most of our group thought was the best bakery they have ever been to. So many lovely sweet things plus empanadas and sandwiches and bread. It’s a great success story. You can even refill your thermos for free, get free mate and recycle your old mate. Brilliant. We will be back. It was worth the detour off...

Nice stop typically for buses in Tolhuin. Staff are friendly and the empanadas are tasty - coffee is very poor however (from a Nescafé machine). Interesting exhibit on the famous Dr Rene Favaloro and the place also offers free hot water (although advise a small contribution to the local church). Nice...

Me gustó mucho. Es un espacio amplio, decorado y preparado para recibir mucha clientela. Hay espacios para quién quiera estar al aire libre o para quién prefiera estar bajo techo. Está preparado para familias con niños. Los baños son limpios y tienen las cosas básicas. Hay un detalle que me llamó la atención y me encató y fue que hay un puesto de agua y yerba GRATIS! uno va con su equipo de mate, consume en el lugar, se arma el mate libremente sin preocuparse por el agua ni ls yerba. Hay como una caja transparente donde vos podes poner dinero "a voluntad" para seguir manteniendo ese sector de yerba y agua gratis...pero depende de cada persona. Me pareció genial la idea innovadora. También se puede ver la panificadora en funcionamiento. Yo no tuve la suerte, pero debe ser muy interesante. La atención muy buena. Yo probé churros y submarino. Muy buenos los dos. Los precios...
