GUAPAS Resto Bar — Restaurant in Municipio de Villa Carlos Paz

We have been going to Guapas for years and there has been a steady drop in quality.

Finally, an experience today has resulted in this rating.

From lifeless salads (previous experience) to incorrect order placement, followed by a failure to acknowledge an errors; today I suffered through my last experience at this restaurant.

We ordered the "Guapas" burgers and what arrived, an hour later were the veggie burgers. When asking our waitress about the mix up she stated firmly that these were the burgers we ordered. When I asked "Where the cheese was?" she said these were the Guapas burgers and that these were the burgers we ordered.

I am not sure of the company's policy of returned food, whether or not the server has to pay for any mistakes they make out of their own pocket, but we knew she was wrong and she knew she was wrong as well.

Admittedly, there is a language barrier and I will admit my own short comings there but this was unacceptable.

Next time, I will go down the street to some other, more competent,...

Mi experiencia en GUAPAS Resto Bar fue extremadamente decepcionante. Fui a cenar con un amigo y pedí una hamburguesa sin aderezos debido a mis preferencias personales. Cuando llegó la hamburguesa, al examinarla, noté que tenía mayonesa. Solicité amablemente que me la prepararan como había pedido, y se la llevaron a la cocina.

Para mi sorpresa, la hamburguesa regresó casi instantáneamente. Al preguntar cómo la habían hecho tan rápido, me respondieron que solo habían cambiado el pan. Les expliqué que no podía aceptarla, ya que la mayonesa estaba en la carne, no solo en el pan. La hamburguesa volvió a la cocina, y apenas unos segundos después, la encargada regresó con la misma hamburguesa, asegurándome que habían cambiado el pan y limpiado la carne.

No podía creer lo que estaba escuchando. No solo me trajeron de vuelta la misma hamburguesa dos veces, que ya estaba fría, sino que la solución que me ofrecieron fue inaceptable. Para colmo, a pesar de haber pasado por este mal rato y no haber comido, la misma encargada insistió en cobrarme la hamburguesa.

En resumen, fue una experiencia frustrante y desagradable. No recomiendo este lugar, especialmente si tienes alguna preferencia alimentaria específica, ya que la atención al cliente dejó...

GUAPA’s is a cute restaurant on the Carlos Paz shoreline and has a beautiful ambiance, great service, and excellent food. They are famous among the locals for their excellent lomitos ( a steak sandwich) and their ginger-mint lemonade. DEFINITELY try their mint-ginger lemonade!
