We specifically chose this place because of the reviews and high star rating. Perhaps this might be why we were left a bit disappointed.
The service was excellent. Our waitress was patient, funny and attentive. You could tell the other staff were keeping an eye on all patrons.
We ordered the Lamb Patagonia, ribeye steak and Entrania along with two salads. The salads were great, but the one was quite expensive.
The entrania was good, but not out of this world. The ribeye was ordered medium well but came closer to well done making it a bit tough. The lamb was ok, parts a bit dry. The presentation wasn’t great; everything came mixed together in one iron pan.
We finished with a homemade flan with Dulce de Leche and a chocolate mousse to share. Both were excellent, wish we hadn’t of shared.
We had a bottle of wine which was great, our waitress recommended it. The total bill came to 15000 pesos (this was the amount discounted if paid in cash) for 4 people. There was not really an energy in the place. It was quite cold inside, not really any music or vibe.
Earlier in the week we at La Posta, which was excellent. Everything was divine. All the meat was huge portions, juicy, perfectly done. we saw someone eating the lamb and the presentation was phenomenal, it looked juicy and gorgeous and they people eating it said it was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and full of energy and chats. The place was warm and cosy and full of vibes. The price was similar, a little cheaper. I am stating this so that you choose wisely if you have less nights or perhaps Chop Chop can consider the...
Read morevery nice people, good service. Excellent menu book with all the explanation needed by the customer. So we took the best steak available: eye steak. Ordered it medium, which was exactly on the middle of a scala of 5. Actually I got less then medium, and my husband got medium well. Unfortunately it was so tough that inspite our efforts I couldn't eat it. My husband had a great fight whith the steak, and won 3 to 1. They offered me some chicken instead, but didn't want it. At the end they gave us 10% off, but didn't accept my husband's credit card (Visa business), arguing that they accept only debit cards. In conclusion, nice and helpful personnel, no credit card accepted, and their softest...
