El Cuate Taquería — Restaurant in Salta

Best Mexican restaraunt I've been to yet. The food was really affordable, the waitstaff were helpful (they recommended getting two tacos per person which with the complimentary nachos and dip, was perfect for us). The coke we ordered came in a giant 1.5L glass bottle which was cool too.

The atmosphere was lovely, the tables and chairs had a cool multicoloured theme. There were two cats which were really friendly. All in all I'd recommend this to anyone. It's a bit far from the centre but totally worth it!...

It's a nice place and the staff is great but if you want Mexican food this is not it. Not even close. If you're ok with a general idea of Mexican(ish) ingredient put together in a more Argentine form, thrn you're good.

The only spicy thing is the spicy salss ehich is locoto pepper. Its more peppery than most Mexican pepper but it will give you a jolt. I think they also have a slightly milder salsa with...

La atencion estuvo muy bien; el precio correcto en funcion de la calidad y la cantidad; los sabores bien logrados; el.lugar esta bien ubicado de facil estacionamiento; tiene mesas en la vereda especial para tomar cerveza; no le coloco 4 estrellas por lo siguientes detalles: 1-Tienen como centro de mesa un pequeño florero de vidrio con flores artificiales y el agua del mismo estaba muy sucia que hasta se veian pequeños gusanos 2-habiendo visto eso mi familia y yo nos predispusimos mal a todo y cuando llego la limonada con menta y jengibre vimos que las hojas de menta estaban mal lavadas y tenian tierra en las hojas. Terminamos lo antes posible la cena cambiamos la limonada por una gaseosa y nos fuimos avisandole al mozo lo susedido. Lamento informar esto pero creo que es la unica forma de que los dueños controlen y el personal sea mas cuidadoso y proteja su fuente de trabajo. Uno nunca sabe cuando un local guide lo visitara o simplemente alguien que no vuelva nunvca mas. Aclaro es la sucursal de calle belgrano...
