Patio De La Empanada — Restaurant in Salta

My wife and myself went for dinner 3 days ago. Lunch had been at a previously visited restaurant. I had two corn empanadas and my wife one corn one jam and cheese. The four of them had been oven cooked. One small beer and a bottled non bubble-non alcoholic beverage. No dessert. The next morning my wife began with tummy cramps, fever and diarrhea. I started a little bit later with cramps,emesis and diarrhea. Let's avoid the details. I was lucky, and by today I am out of symptoms after 36 hours rest. We had no running water to drink at any time. Looking backwards, cleanliness wasn't the most outstanding feature of this "once famous"...

No place for a delicate guys, and that's confirmed. Please get off your mind the idea of a modern place, with fine details and the stuff you probably found in a restaurant: the only one thing it cares here, is the empanada's taste, -a sublime flavor combination- and every detail on the culinary seal of empanadas salteñas. And by the way, is a trade mark. My recommendation: enjoy a little hot chilly spicy sauce with empanadas and a quarter wine....
