Please dont fall into this tourist trap like we and many others did! Terrible service, bad food and bad drinks. Firstly we waited 30 minutes at shop, then finally we seated still wait like 20 minutes to be served, food took like another 20 minutes. We ordered chai latte 450peso and a soup with meat 960peso. That chai latte I can only taste milk forth no taste of chai. Soup is just full of lentil with 1 tiny piece of meat inside very pathetic! We waited 20 minutes for change , apparently they has no intention to give me change and assumed its tip , usually i would just walked off if experience was ok. But not this time! I asked where is my change? Waiter is like what change? You want to pay by credit card? "np,.we already paid ,.I just want my change please? " 10 minutes later change came back.
Its very sad to see so many people waiting outside, tired after hiking and expecting something in high quality with view. Im telling you, no view! All been blocked by tree. And no service, no wifi, no phone signal either. And not...
Read moreWe visited the tea house and found the food and drinks really lovely with a pretty gift shop designed for tourist eyes. However the service really let it down. We felt it was brusque, full of attitude and unfriendly from some but not all staff members. You felt rushed to finish and leave too, which we disliked at this price point. Also, it’s worth noting that despite this being in a prime tourist location without great mobile reception, they don’t offer WiFi to patrons (they do have a WiFi network though) which is poor. Despite it being prominently noted in red on the bill that tips are not included, none of the staff even felt the need to reply when I said goodbye (in Spanish) as we were leaving, which is rude in any language and not something we’ve seen anywhere else in Argentina. If you want more tips, train your staff to...
Read moreWe waited for about an hour until we could finally go in the place. We were told that the waiting time would be maximum 20'. I ordered a Foccacia, but instead they brought me a slide of normal white bread. They weren't able to prepare a standard Capuchino, in a Tea House! The "tea house menu" would include 1 brownie, 1 escon, 1 dried croissant and 3 kinds of normal bread, with a cake.. apart of the cake, it wasn't that different from what you get in a gas station for breakfast. And of course, everything overpriced! The place is pretty and the service fine, but I don't recommend going for having the "tea house experience"... You can find much better places, with much better food, less waiting time and a reasonable price....
