Stunnig views and very high location make this place unique and staying there for a night is an unforgettable experience. Prices were really low considering the location (90000 drams for 2 nights for 9 people, 4500 drams for 1 person per night ~ 8 euro). In both rooms we had toilet and a shower with warm water. Food was good and its price was not really high. The only disadvantage was long waiting time. The manager of the hotel was kind and she organised us the transport to Yerevan the following day and even booked us a hotel in Yerevan. Very good location if somebody wants to climb Aragac. I also warn that reaching the highest peak (4090m) is quite demanding and If you do not have any climbing experience and good physical condition (the rocks on the top were completely unstable and the abyss a bit frightening), you should rather choose the second highest...

This restaurant truly exploits it's location as the only restaurant/hotel by the trail head. It is incredibly overpriced, a bed costs 15,000dram and a beer, 1000dram. I know some people have cited it's remoteness but its only a 2.5hour drive from Yerevan on a paved road, even in the remotest mountain villages I've never been charged more than 500dram for a beer. After hearing the price I left, but later succumbed, and asked the staff, who loiter outside the entrance instead of waiting tables, to see the drinks at which point I was told they had closed! (8 O'clock).. and only let me buy a drink after I insisted. Probably best to bring your own food or eat at another place...

Like many other reviews, I can confirm the low quality of this place.

It is not very cozy, but this could be ignored if the rest was fine – which is not.

We ordered a dish with salad because we were not that hungry. The waitress brought us much more, like cheese, herbs and bread – which we did not order. So I complained, but the blonde waitress reacted very rudely and did not take the food back. Thus, we had to pay for it.

The food itself was okay – nothing special. But prices are extremely high und the 10 percent service charge (for very unfriendly service) does not make this...

Went there after visiting a few monasteries in the area. It was 26 degrees in Yerevan and 7 degrees up on mount Aragats - so bring some clothes with you! We had some Khosh there - I didn’t know what it was before - which is a broth soup where you put dry Lavash bread and eat with normal Lavash bread. We found it was worth it especially after all the sinuous roads to get there but might not be for everybody as it’s a little rough up there.

The restaurant is located at an altitude of 3107 meters. For the first time in our lives we ate khash. The waitress explained what it was made from and showed how to eat it correctly. It was wonderful! In addition to the khash and lavash itself, they brought us a lot of greens, pickles, pickled mushrooms, and pickled cheeses. Everything was wonderful!
