Stayed for 1 night in corner room with large windows and a sitting area facing the lake||||Pro's||- great view of the lake||||Con's||- room was not properly cleaned with crumbs on the cushioned seating area.||- Wifi wasn't properly working most of the time||- breakfast was uninspiring (only the cake was ok) and served in a fairly dark restaurant||- the staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed indifferent||- no curtains, which means that people from part of the restaurant were able to look into our room in the evening, and also no way to block out light early in the morning||- staff (presumably) at the restaurant did not bother to keep their volume down at night after dinner service was over. We could hear them shouting to one another clearly as the room is right above||- poor ventilation. it was a very hot and sunny day. Only one window could be opened (with insect net, thank goodness) but the air was still and stale. A fan would have been nice||- water temperature in the shower was either scalding hot or very cold. Nothing in between||||A minor point: The reception couldn't provide change when I paid the room upon arrival. They promised to bring the change to us later, which they never did. We also forgot about it. It wasn't much money (400 dram) but certainly did make them seem insincere.||||We had delicious dinner somewhere after reading mixed reviews for this property so can't...
Read moreHotel and everything related to it directly is almost perfect, but there were two greatest cons with a restaurant aside, which is a part of the hotel. Note that there are no other restaurants/cafes around, so this is your main feeding option||||1) Prices in menu do not match the bill!!!! Bill prices are about 20% higher than in menu.||2) Two portions of baked potato turned out to be a two pieces of baked potato.||||Notes above refer to a dinner, which was ordered separately from a hotel booking. The breakfast included in a hotel price (open buffet) was very fine.||||Perfect room, clean, nice and well-equipped. Very comfortable, especially considering the location (quite far from large cities). Lake view, small terrace. Curtains were in place (compared to a review made by Kopi-O)||||Small, but good beach. Beautiful inner yard.||||Staff is fine. No super-hospitality (compared to other Armenian places maybe), but they do their job fine and are responsive enough.||||Wi-fi is poor. But you don't go to the countryside to hang on tiktok, do you?||||Location is perfect for a weekend. Staying longer may feel boring, I think - there are not too much of entertainment around, so...
Read moreSuggested by my colleague. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay, far from the crowd and main highway in Sevan with Lake Sevan view, Lavash Hotel would be the right choice for you.
The hotel is beautifully constructed and I loved the place very much. Wonderful views of the lake as it is just next to the Sevan Lake, sufficient place to walk, take beautiful photos and private beach. The hotel has numerous cute dogs and cats, you can spot ducks and seagulls(I guess) in the lake. The hotel has a restaurant with lake view to enjoy delicious food. The menu is not very big and diverse. If lucky and no cloud in the night, you can do stargazing from the beach.
The rooms were spacious, warm and cozy, with a small porch in the front. A small table(can be used to play cards or eat), wooden sofa with cushion (with good area) and mini refrigerator were also available in the room. However, the room was lacking some necessary items like wardrobe, wooden hooks are available to hang your clothes though. There was no toothpaste and shower gel in the...
