Wine Garden — Restaurant in Goris

Food was ok, nothing special, and like mentioned in other reviews, it took an extremely long time to arrive, despite the place not being that full. Also we were placed on a non-smoking room, but there was tobacco smoke all over the place, which does not help enjoy the food.

I definitely do not recommend this place if you have a food allergy. One person in our group has coeliac disease and we gave the waitress a little text explaining what they could and couldn't eat. She seemed to understand and pointed out dishes that we could/couldn't order, but still our soup contained bulgur and the bbq meat was served on top of bread, so they did not seem to take it very seriously. Not surprisingly, the rest also contained at least traces of gluten, judging by the symptoms next morning.

The garden did seem nice though, so on a warm night and if you don't suffer any allergies, this may be an enjoyable place to...

We ate here twice while in Goris because we really liked the garden and because most other places come with worse reviews. This is a nice place to relax after coming from hours on marshrutka. Siamo stati accolti da una donna che parlava solo russo e per capirci abbiamo dovuto usare la lingua dei segni, poco male eh, ma nel 2023 ti aspetteresti quantomeno l'inglese nelle strutture ricettive. Facciamo un ordine segnando i numeri del menu in autonomia su di un foglio di carta. Ordiniamo una bottiglia di vino rosso Areni riserva ma ci viene detto che non c'è. Scegliamo un'altra bottiglia ma anche questa sfortunatamente non è presente nel locale. La signora ci indica che l'unico vino che hanno è quello della casa che costa più di quello in bottiglia (strano eh...) ci portano un kebab di patate, un kebab di carne (non molto buono, un bbq di manzo molto buono e del riso con verdure. Il vino era veramente cattivo, dolcissimo al primo impatto e acido allo stomaco. Quando arriviamo a pagare chiediamo se possiamo pagare con carta e ci viene detto di sì. Dopo poco ci viene detto che è possibile pagare solo in contanti. Fare i furbi con i turisti è un guadagno che non porta benefici. 28€ totalmente regalati per...
