I loved this hotel and restaurant really deep inside the canyons/mountains. The restaurant is classic. Old-style tables with a portable electric heater. The Shashlik pit is a must-try. I've never had a proper pit meal before. I was served shashlik with grilled vegetables in the pit. Absolutely delicious with a plateful of fresh mountain greens. I was surprised that I finished everything. I highly, highly recommend it.

Simple but nice hotel by the river. Big and clean rooms, although they need some maintenance and repairs. Lots of outdoor space to relax. The couple running it are lovely and can cook kholovats and Armenian food for you.
