This place was already on their second chance after stale and bland chips that were clearly old refried, so gave them a try again being the local and most convenient.

I placed an order online through their website for Medium Chips $6.90. Gave it enough time and drove down there, thankfully I went up to the counter to let them know I was there. The girl said "oh, our online ordering is down", despite the system happily accepting my order and money without any other notice. Despite this, she was happy to put it through (and I have to wait again for them to be ready) but quoted $12.90 for the same order and would have to be charged again.

I told her not to worry and walked out. That's a 87% increase in price versus what's quoted online. I'm never going back and advise others to do the same.

Edit 4/10 in response to management: "Hey Tyson, it's on our facebook and all over our social media that we not-doing online orders anymore however your M chips were 6,90 more than 5 years ago I'm not sure if that there is any shops in Adelaide selling their m chips for $6,90 you could of asked our manager and spoke to him I'm not sure man I'm what world you can buy A Medium chips for $6,90 that's crazy!" Scrolled all the way back to Xmas 2023 on Facebook and not one mention of online ordering shut down. It's not up to the consumer to have to check this since it's linked on their website, but anyway if you aren't accepting online orders then shut the online system down. That's where the prices are shown.

Edit 21/11- a week after the above was posted by the store, it was changed to a more formal along the lines of sorry please come in and we'll make it right. Well today 21/11 notified of the third change of response from the store quote "can't believe that you would assault one of my team knowing she's 15 just because you want M chips for 6 you must be out of your mind we passed your info to the police they will deal with it" which is the same slanderous comment they've posted to another gentleman above. This false defamation must be removed as soon as possible to avoid taking this further. Please, never go to this place if that's how they treat feedback and...

First time trying here since changing owners as I had moved out of the area. Was excited to see that they offered “gluten free options” which is writing in big letters on their window. When I went inside to have a look the only thing that was gluten free on their menu was the hot chips. Out of the 3 people working only one of them could tell me what options they had for gluten free and it wasn’t much, grilled fish or chips! Why state you have gluten free options when you don’t really have them?! It’s not easy finding quick and easy options when you have to eat a gluten free diet so this was extremely disappointing!

Ended up ordering a family chicken pack to take home to the rest of my household.
