Mal practice at your store. I went to drive-through, and I was served by Micheal on at the window. I ordered one zinger box, one popcorn, go bucket and one supercharged slider. I was charged dollars 26,65. Upon asking the receipt. The guy pretended that printer is not working, whereas I saw the receipt came out of the printer, and then he went to grab a roll for the printer from another counter when he opened the printer, I was able to see all the things when you open the printer. The role was there and I asked give me the receipt. He said you can get it from next window I said no I want my receipt now I paid over here. I need my receipt here Right, he pretended that ignorance that he don’t know how to use the printer. I asked him to that I want to see his manager. He called the manager name, Patrick upon asking the receipt he given me the receipt where I was charged one dollar donation, which I haven’t consented for. This store is using malpractices to rip off the customers as the charging customers without their consent and not providing the receipt. If somebody is not seeing the receipt that means you are ripped off at KFC. I’m reading this with the Australian Complaint and Consumer commission that this is very common at KFC, if this guy is serving a customer and charging like this, that means he’s ripping off 1000 customers of KFC every day, and upon asking, he pretended to be ignorant, not providing the receipt and then this Manager Patrick refunded me the money for the wholemeal, but that was not, my motive was like not to cheat people at KFC I don’t know whether there is some sort of promotion going on from your end that which Store make the most donation they will get reverted so if that is the case you guys should stop it straightaway because that is how your customers are ripped off that your staff members are charging without consent of the customer. I’m also raising it on social media platform to make it aware that people are not...
Read moreMy recent encounter at the KFC Everard Park store was nothing short of an abysmal travesty—an experience so profoundly disappointing that it demands articulation in the strongest possible terms.
Upon entering, I was immediately struck not by the warmth of hospitality or the aroma of freshly prepared food, but by an air of disarray and neglect. The staff appeared disinterested, moving with the lethargy of those entirely detached from the concept of service. My order, though simple and unremarkable, was handled with a startling lack of care, as though the mere act of preparing it was an unbearable burden.
The food itself was a catastrophic insult to both the brand and the customer. What should have been golden, crisp chicken was instead a soggy, oil-logged parody of what KFC promises. The chips were limp and insipid, utterly devoid of texture or flavor, while the beverage I received seemed flat, lifeless, and improperly dispensed. It was a meal not worth consuming, let alone paying for.
Yet what truly exacerbated this lamentable ordeal was the sheer disregard for basic standards of cleanliness and order. Tables remained cluttered with detritus, bins overflowed disgracefully, and the floor was a battlefield of crumbs and discarded packaging. It painted the portrait of an establishment where pride in presentation had long since evaporated.
In summary, this store has descended into a place where indifference reigns, quality is abandoned, and the customer is left feeling duped and disrespected. If KFC prides itself on consistency and satisfaction, then the Everard Park location stands as a glaring stain upon its reputation. I would sooner dine elsewhere, or indeed, go hungry, than subject myself again to such an...
Read moreOriginally given 6 instead of 8 bits of hot and spicy and no supercharged sauce in order, had to go back into restraunt to be greeted with an eye roll while correcting after checking at my car even though I'd asked inside if server had gotten it correct (2+2+2+2 =8 not 6). Also chicken pieces were tiny (under 10cm^3 each, more near 6cm^3 each) and very soggy with maybe a 1-2/10 spice level. Popcorn chicken contained little to no chicken as it was mostly fried bits of crumb/batter coating, super oily and couldnt eat and container wasn't full. Chips were soggy, undercooked and undersalted in both boxes. Burgers squished and not so crispy on zinger fillets. Drinks were correct. I feel utterly ripped off for spending over $45, especially given it was ~10:30pm and the store was not busy at all. Would normally ask for refund of items that we're inedibly terrible but figure KFC in Adelaide has simply been going downhill and other restaurant options are where I will look in the future. It's not hard to cook chips fully and salt them correctly, cook pre-prepared popcorn chicken which actually contains chicken and fill a container, make nice crispy buttermilk hot and spicy chicken leg/thigh fillet which is actually crispy or count to 8 and make sure everything on an order is correct. An utter disappointment and would like to hear back from management or head office.
Edit: got a call of credit for 2 weeks for the same meal and told to say I got the phonecall and show the email KFC app credit for their mistake as a replacement meal. 😑. Still vastly irritated and think that whoever is overseeing this shitshow better give me...
