Paralowie Chicken & Seafood — Restaurant in Adelaide

Maybe we ended up there on a bad night compared to other reviews but we won't be back. We've ordered from here once and thought it was average but that was over a year ago so I went in to give them another go after dinner plans went down the drain. Wasn't acknowledged walking in or standing there awkwardly, immediate "burden" feeling just trying to wait for someone. They weren't "that busy" in the moment, they did increase while I was waiting for my order but with 6 or so behind the counter, saying hey or a quick smile acknowledgement or even saying something when they get to their system advice instead of standing there staring for me to start it all, just wouldn't hurt to say hey. Chips were soggy, nice salt amount/ flavour but they were soggy as. Gravy was decent. Chicken was poor taste and quality. Just like over a year ago when we had delivery.

Weird experience considering all the hype around it but twice is enough for us.

On my first phone call to these people they told me I would pay $21 for 3 hot dogs in batter..I obviously went elsewhere and paid $11.50..I rang this shop back, under new management and asked the female manager how they justified charging twice as much, for exactly the same product as I got elsewhere for $3,50 each..She said to me that they don't charge $7.00, they only charge $5.00, to which I said I must be hearing impaired, and none the less , as you are so much more expensive than elsewhere, that is where I will go..Never ever...

This is by far the best chicken/seafood takeout in the whole of Adelaide, no one beats it in my opinion, their seafood is fresh and crispy, tasty, there salads are incredible, their Roast lamb and other hotpacks are so so tender and delicious (they only sell those on Fridays and weekends until they run out), their chips, roast veges and peas and gravy are absolutely the best!, you won't go hungry with their portion sizes and will leave you happy and satisfied, 10 out of 10...
