Winter’s Burgers — Restaurant in Adelaide

Previously I had a great experience here (see review below) however today's and last Saturday's experience was not so good. Over hearing a commotion in the kitchen and hearing 'l would not serve those burgers they are over cooked and will be like leather" I hoped they would have cooked new burgers but then had those overcooked burgers served to you and yes it was a very dry flavourless double cheeseburger. The fries were also missing and were not served to us until about 5 min after we had finished the burgers. I was very disappointed and the only thing I can conclude was the cook today and last week was different leading to poor quality burgers. Bland burgers, soggy chips and over an hour wait time for 2 burgers. I am extremely sad to give Winter's Burgers a one star review, however I literally cannot find a redeeming factor in the meal and experience we had tonight. This was our first time ordering from here and we were hopeful with the reviews we found, unfortunately it took over an hour for us to recieve the text for our crispy chicken burgers to be picked up (we were told 30-40min wait time) and when we tasted them they were definitely not crispy and tasted like plain grilled chicken and bitter lettuce. We also had a serve of sweet potato fries but they were soggy and not seasoned well. They honestly weren't worth the wait or the money which sucks because we were genuinely keen to give them a go. We haven't tried their beef burgers so they may be better but definitely don't bother ordering...

All I can say is the standard has dropped. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, it felt as if I interrupted their important chat to collect my order.

We've had their burgers before and were excited to have them again, couldn't have been more wrong. I picked up my order 5 minutes after the pick up time and it was already barely warm to the touch.

The loaded fries were cold, soggy with no flavour, a bare dash of goopy cheese and some half hearted attempt at caramelized onions. The onion rings didn't fair much better, stone cold, falling apart and flavourless. As for the burgers, the crispy chicken burger was extremely over cooked and bland. The tradie fell apart after the first bite, the bun was soggy and the patties were over cooked. Definitely pass on them, have thrown the majority away and heading to Macca's now to get something...
