Set in a provincial and cosy atmosphere, this bakery has got to be one of the best I've visited in 20 years on my journey of 'Best pie in Victoria'. Nestled in the humble town of Allansford spruiks a heritage-like building giving off French vibes. Stepping inside, we witness a spacious and inviting setting. The pies were nothing short of magnificent. The Lamb and Budweiser and Pepper ones were succulent and juicy on the inside with a flavoursome texture. The pastry dough was very well done. Always amazing and super fresh! We have tried so many things - pies, sourdough bread, croissants, sweet rolls, slices and desserts - never been disappointed. It can be hard to find a quick lunch for my vegetarian husband while we are out and about, he is now obsessed with the vege pasties! Even the toddler has no complaints!
