We stopped here for a lunch on a Barossa Tour.
Location - it felt a little industrial in comparison to other wineries visited. It didn't have the home comforts appeal that we have visited in the past. In saying that it was extremely spacious on the inside for us all to be seated to enjoy the wine tasting and food.
Food - our lunch was delicious and given that we were a decent sized group the food was plenty enough to be shared around. Loved the individual platter to start the tasting off.
Wine - whilst there were a few of the wines that had a beautiful resonance on the tastebuds the delivery of the story and explanation of the making and ingredients did not have much impact. I am not sure if this was influenced by the fact we were a bigger group and there were other customers on the premises but it felt rushed and lacked conviction of loyalty to the wine itself. This in turn influenced our reason for no purchase. I feel we got more story of the foundations of the winery from our bus driver.

Read moreMe and my partner did this amazing trip where we went between the vines, and we were able to get led around by our own private tour guide. Not only was it incredibly cheap for what it was, but everything from the service to the food was done to perfection. This place is near, near to my heart, and I'm very fond of their champagne, I mean, excuse me, sparkling wine. Isn't it silly the French think they have a monopoly on that word?
Anyway, it was called a Prologue. Amazing, absolutely amazing. Plus, like the region, every single red they make is marvelous. Oh an our guide was called Chris he...
Read moreBeautiful setting. Presentation was just ok. Extremely small taste of wines. Food presented for lunch was well presented. Female that had advised the tour she was vegetarian was not catered for. The same female doing the presentation when advised abruptly told her that she should have advised, when informed she had was left without any resolution. Lots of left over chicken and steak. Abruptly informed Not permitted to take home for dog. Maybe should have a staff doing presentation in a better frame of mind and not as snappy to clients. Result ..... no sale! Would i recommend a tour to people going to Lambert.... certainly not. Tearra and Pindary staff presentation and explanation exceptional, friendly and helpful. Tearra certainly look after clients Free tea, coffe and home made cake along with...
