8:50 pm visited the drive on 5 June 2024. What the fuk. I asked for my wrap and fries fresh. Did a mobile order and so as per the usual policy at McDonald’s, I drove straight to the pickup window. A young girl walks to the window, stares at me, and talks and giggles with her co-workers (2 in blue shirts which means crew trainers at McDonald’s). Through the window, I hear her say “Haha but what do I even say to them” One of the coworkers says something in response, she opens the window and says “Um you know you need to pay at the first window”. No, I don’t, it’s a mobile order and I paid on the app. Really not hard to figure out on their screen as I have previously worked at McDonald’s for over 2 years. Sat there for about 5 minutes whilst the workers walked around, talked amongst themselves, and were generally messing about. Finally got given my soft serve (unsure why it took over 5 minutes… actually, probably because all the workers were high as kites stoned - read on). And was then ignored for another 5 minutes before one of the male crew trainers stared out the window into my car and stated “Do you know what they’re even waiting on” and after a conversation between the three of them (a young blonde girl and two male crew trainers) they came to the conclusion I was waiting for my frappe. Waited a couple of minutes whilst they whipped that one up. They walked away yet again. Still no food but about 15 minutes has now passed. McDonald’s fries take 3 minutes in the fryer and the chicken no more than around 7-9 mins. I sat there observing the staff whilst waiting, and after they finally noticed me looking into the restaurant they told me to park my car in the waiting bay. Normally I have zero issue with this, but after having already waited 15 minutes for my food, what in the world would I need to park and wait for? Nevertheless, I didn’t argue, I pulled around to the waiting bay. Can you guess what happens next! 5 minutes pass by… no food. But what I can see is a team member with his cap sideways on his head walking around the dining room aimlessly the whole time I’m waiting carrying a spray bottle (pretending to be cleaning/looking busy would be my best bet) and cleaning maybe one actual table in total. the rest of the staff were handing out orders in the drive-through and then just standing around and talking. Err hello… where is my food?? After spending over 20+ minutes in the drive-thru I got beyond frustrated and drove straight back around to the cash window. Spoke to the young blonde girl again, seemed pretty incompetent and definitely not sober as she couldn’t understand a word I was saying or the point I was trying to get across. Asked her to get the manager and she did, the manager came and gave me a refund as I was fired up and not happy with the staff.
I believe with 100% confidence and certainty that the staff at McDonald’s Anketell were high on marijuana. It’s a disgusting look, and someone needs to talk to your staff and tell them to step back in line because they are representing a business not...
Read moreThey messed up the order 3 times the second time I had to pay for the stuff the girl missed when ordering the first time in the drivethru, when I picked up the order asked if was the 2 orders I had made they assured me they did when i got home the whole second order was missing all they were just interested in was getting people through and not worrying what the customers want, First time I have been there and it will probably be the last, the food was not flash either. Grand mac was sloppy and the meat undercooked all burgers and chips were cold and the drinks warm. The girl taking my order didn't seem to care about me questioning the order she never even bothered to bring my order back up so I never got to review my order before purchasing just made me pay for the order, then I had to pay the extra they missed the first time just got the eftpos machine shoved out the window for me to pay never got offered the reciept so there was no way of knowing what I ordered vs what I actually got, only questioned my order cause it seemed cheap for what I ordered. Obviously no communication between the workers, and the girl handing out the orders in the drivethru was rude, when I questioned the third drink i had purchased she said rudely you never paid for it, after questioning again about the second order I paid for a large Bic Mac meal, ( the one I never recieved probably was sitting on the counter cause they didn't know whose it was ) she just shrugged her shoulders and ignored me, unfortunately I was not given a reciept so again had no proof of purchasing the second order which I had ordered for daughter so she had to go without. My bank account clearly says I made 2 purchases otherwise and I only recieved my first order, so make sure you ask for reciepts there people, don't know how many people they could of ripped off for their incompetence, lack of communication skills and customer service, I think they really need to re-train their staff or get a whole new crew. Looking at all the other reviews of this place I can clearly see that they have ripped of many people in the past by messing up the orders and poor...
Read more04/08/2024 2:30AM The manager was hella rude. She said she couldn’t give me what I ordered online and drove 15 minutes for it because the store doesn’t do that burger after 12am. Found that a bit absurd as the app shouldn’t have let me ordered it then but I didn’t argue even once and I asked her to give me another burger instead. I had already paid for the meal online ( had a promo meal for $10). But she said that I’ll have to pay again for the whole meal at the full price of $16 and the Already paid amount would be refunded. I wasn’t ready do that. I think it was fair on my behalf to stick with what I had already paid. If they are not able to provide me what they were supposed to, they need to do something about it. I politely explained her this but she went on saying that she doesn’t control the app and she can’t do anything about it. When asked who can help, she asked me to reach the head office in NSW. Be minded it’s 2:30 AM , I drove 15 minutes and I’ve been standing there for 15 minutes starving for food. Then I asked that I wanna put a formal complaint as being a regular McDonalds customer for ages, this is not something any customer deserves. She asked me to do it online and refused to give her name. And then she threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave. So McDonalds team, here I am. This is really a bad reputation for the company as I’ve worked in hospitality as well. This is not the way to treat a customer where he is not at all at fault. I wasn’t rude to her and I had a very fair point. I hope an action is taken. Nothing serious, but atleast someone at higher position should have a chat with the lady and teach her some customer...
