I couldn't wait to share the amazing experience my friends and I had at Brother of Mine cafe. We had the pleasure of taking our out-of-state buddies there for breakfast, and let me tell you, it was an absolute treat from start to finish. Everything about our visit was beyond our wildest expectations, leaving us with an unforgettable memory of fantastic food and warm hospitality.
Now, let's dive into the highlight of the morning—the BBQ Eggs Benedict. Oh my, was it a plate of pure bliss! I can still taste the perfection of the poached eggs, smothered in a heavenly BBQ-infused hollandaise sauce. The flavors were a delicious symphony, combining smokiness with just the right touch of richness. Each bite, accompanied by the comforting crunch of a toasted English muffin, was an explosion of delightful flavors that left us yearning for more. The culinary team at Brother of Mine truly knows how to create magic on a plate.
One thing that really impressed us was the remarkable range of local craft beers on offer. As self-proclaimed beer enthusiasts, we were thrilled to find such a carefully curated selection. From hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts, Brother of Mine had it all. The staff, with their extensive knowledge and friendly demeanor, were more than happy to guide us in finding the perfect brews to complement our meals. It was a true celebration of local flavors and a testament to the cafe's commitment to showcasing the best of the region.
Of course, we couldn't resist indulging in their coffee as well, and boy, were we in for a treat! The moment we stepped inside, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped us like a warm hug. The baristas were masters of their craft, pouring cup after cup of steaming goodness. The coffee was an experience in itself—smooth, robust, and bursting with flavor. It was evident that every cup was brewed with care and passion, elevating our breakfast experience to new heights.
Beyond the culinary delights, Brother of Mine had a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The mix of rustic and modern decor created a trendy yet comfortable vibe, setting the stage for a leisurely and enjoyable breakfast. The staff members were attentive, treating us like old friends and ensuring that every moment was filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. Their passion for providing an exceptional customer experience shone through in every interaction.
To sum it all up, Brother of Mine is a cafe that deserves all the accolades. From the mouthwatering BBQ Eggs Benedict to the impressive array of local craft beers and the outstanding coffee, this place is a culinary paradise. The combination of extraordinary food, friendly service, and inviting ambiance creates an experience that will stay with you long after you've left. Read moreHave not been at this place for a while as previous experiences weren’t that great and menu too restricted for my dietary needs. However today was really bad experience! I was unwell and needed to have a meal to take medication as I was feeling really unwell to make my own. Waiting staff was great and even moved me to a sunny spot outside where I could sit with my friend’s dog I was looking after for a few days. When I got my breakfast and started eating, one of the kitchen staff (big round male) got into his Ute parked close to the outside where I was sitting and started up his vehicle. The fumes coming out of the exhaust were so bad! And the wind was blowing it right to us that it just puts one off your food!
I stood up and indicated to him that the fumes were upsetting us and another table next to me that also looked visibly upset where we were sitting outside. This staffer just ignored us and sat there in his Ute with the engine running making black fumes! I told the staffer in his ute the effect it has on people sitting at the restaurant and his attitude just stinks making it clear he doesn’t care with no sense of decency! I was getting so nauseous and as I was already sick that this made it 10 times worse. I then just stood up and left my breakfast not even half eaten and went to the waitress and paid my food expressing my displeasure then left. What is this staffer’s attitude with his job I ask myself, if he couldn’t care less what he’s actions has on this restaurant and it’s business? I seriously would not want someone like that working for me! And I guess this was the last time I’ll visit...
Read moreSaddened to see the decline of this place. They used to be the best cafe in Baldivis, possibly SOR. Only thing that has remained unchanged is the quality of their coffees which is unmatched
Went for brekkie with my 3yo daughter and got sat outside (after waiting for a while even though half the place was empty). Waiter pointed that chairs were wet as it was raining and didn’t even offer to dry them or provide something for us to dry them.
It was also cold and rainy so we asked for a blanket or a to turn on the heaters and we just got an “sorry I don’t think we can”. Asked if we could be moved inside if anything opened up and they said sorry no its all booked, literally 7 min later someone rocked up and was shown outside, they obviously didnt want to sit out (again, wet and cold) and they were provided the option of sitting inside on a high bar table area.
Asked to have omelettes with no cheese and that was also a no, took forever for them to get back to us so we just didn’t end up eating (we didnt order anything) and just paid for our coffees. Food is overpriced and frankly not reflective of the former quality, one example is they keep charging more money for the black pudding and it’s clearly not the same supplier as the quality of that has decreased (from a visit before this one).
As a former hospitality worker I understand the complexities and struggles of the industry. It is a shame that you get better price/quality in a local dome. I hope they get better as they used to be...
