McDonald's — Restaurant in Bass

This review is for higher management in this store as well for general customers to read. On 25th Dec, 2023: We were 4 friends visiting Philip Island on Christmas day.

Order no: 86, We ordered 4 Burgers, Onion crisp, BBQ sauce, Potatoes Finger Chips Max etc. around 3:35 pm. After they handed over, we came towards Philip Island and serving our food to each other. We have noticed they didn't give Potatoes fry Max, we were hungry that time and very poor network that side. Although we tried calling them and told this incident around 4:10 pm. The person said okay we are open until 11 pm on this day 25th Dec 2023 and you can come and we will give you. So we said okay we will be coming around 10:30-10:50 pm. After this communication and seeing Penguins parade, we headed towards our home and stopped the car to MacDonald to take that Fri and one sauce at 10:46 pm. We saw MacDonald is closed and then we entered through beside shop and saw one guy is working inside and doing only Drive through. We told about that incident and he is saying which order and all even though I told about the order number! After 5 minutes drama he checked the system and printed that and again asked to verify which are the orders we ordered! Well, then he said okay I am checking inside then within a minute he came and said no we can't give anything now, so I said then you refund the amount. He said no he can't do that and can't give any fries too!! Lastly he has given few coupons which are for Moe and Wonthaggi store which are far and far from Melbourne though valid till 31st Dec 2023.

Is this expected from MacDonald store while saying I will get the 🍟 while returning and keeping faith and while we reached to collect our left over ordered this type of drama and lastly we lost the money! They didn't take our number too or gave manager number, just said customer care to call that number also they didn't give! Just Googling.. Such nonsense... If you wanna talk you can call zero four nine zero four two four two one four. Higher management should take their step in this matter, it doesn't about 5 dollars, it's about communication and faith. If the person on call would say you should come now and collect or you didn't see them it's your mistake and we can't do anything now, we shouldn't expect to do anything at late night. But keeping faith and going there and this much drama was no need at all!! Thanks and I still need to get my refund or...

Two boys with nametags reading Cruz and Caleb were playing just dance on the order screen TV, as I asked if they could take my order, they ignored me and continued playing. About 2 minutes into a song, one of the young boys lost and finally realised that there was a massive queue of people waiting to order. When the first person came to order one of the young boys interupted by blabbing as the customer was trying to order. When it was my turn to finally order, the young boy with orange hair a large beard and the nametag reading Caleb told me that he was going to come to my house and shoot me and then as I went to tell him what I wanted to order he proceeded to walk off ignoring me and walking into the female bathroom. I waited to be served at the front counter and everyone in the kitchen ignored me even when I yelled out a little so I decided to wait until this 'Caleb' walked out of the female toilets. about 10 minutes went by, luckily I was the only person in the queue, Caleb finally walks out, he comes up to the front counter and slams his hands on it yelling out weird noises and pulling weird faces, he tells me to come closer so that he can whisper in my ear, he said " I pissed on my hands and licked them clean" I proceeded to cancel my order and as I was about to leave I decided to check the female toilets, seeing as I was the correct gender I walked in and saw this wet mess all over the floor with wet toilet paper hanging off the ceiling, there was also a puddle of yellow liquid in the corner of the bathroom, I almost vomitted and walked out of the Maccas to my car.

Absolutely terrible service, terrible employees and I could imagine terrible food. Worst McDonalds in Victoria By...

I dont like the place. They're fuel rip-offs, always expensive (a clever way to further fleece struggling motorists until they return home penniless. Like all other country town ripp-offs, where food and coffee is expensive (like I said, they'll rip you off to the last penny, food in store at this place is also expensive. Then there is lack of lavatory (toilet) access after hours, generally around 11pm, which women (and little girls) have nowhere to go after a long trip but are then forced to do it in the bush in pitch darkness. I certainly do not recommend this place because, if the service station is still open, why are the rest rooms inside with no access? In my days, and yours, service station had pump attendants filling your car, checking the water, oil, etc., and the rest rooms were always open, clean and ready. With all the money these companies are making, keeping the Arabs richer, you'd think we don't deserve a better service? Greed is making society sick. Now, not even toilets are available for the sake of being in a safe and secure place. Instead, fuel is expensive, no service like we've had years ago and no company courtesy and respect either.
