While we haven't been to the cider house we visited the recent batlow cider fest and tried almost 50 different ciders. Apple thief's lemon myrtle cider took the show by a long shot!

Unfortunately when we went to buy some they were sold out on the day but said they were canning them next week. Fast forward a few weeks we ordered a case from their website. Unfortunately Australia Post stuffed it and despite living in Sydney it took over a month to get here and the order was wrong.

A bit frustrating but the managing director was fantastic. Quick responses, expediting shipping of new batches and offered to let us keep the incorrect order for inconvenience.

I'm giving 5 stars, NOT because it's the BEST cider I've had this year, but because the customer service of this small business was 1st class. Give them a shot and thank me...

Not sure what to do for a weekend away? Well I highly recommend heading up to batlow and take the time to pop on into the apple thief cider house !! We had an amazing day there celebrating my grandmother birthday yesterday, we sat outside just near the orchards, was just so beautiful. The food is better then a 10/10, highly recommended trying their burger, quiche and the steak sandwich too!! ( I'm sure the rest of the food is just as good but this is what we ordered ) The staff are just so wonderful, so professional and really just made the day for us, allowing us to store a cake and meeting all our needs and more. Was so good we even went back for the bacon and egg rolls for breakfast !! Will be back time...

The most amazing place! Starting with a car park that is furnished with netting like an orchard, skip under the welcome sign then traipse between a row of apple trees to the front door. The staff were so welcoming (especially the lady in the green jacket) who invited us in even though it was closing time and we were treated to a paddle of various ciders and a lot of laughs. We left with a stash of takeaways to enjoy when we get home. The ciders are unique and completely natural so whilst flavoursome, they do not burn the palette as ciders with additives. Well done guys, it’s going to be brilliant , especially once the landscaping...

They are open for business and in the process of expanding. Easy parking for all kinds of vehicles, even for those towing caravans. Friendly staff and loads of interesting products besides their award winning cider. We enjoyed the non-alcoholic cider with a Sour Cream Apple slice and the other yummy baked coconut cherry slice (not exactly sure what the names were, but it was delicious). We also brought fresh cherries that were absolutely perfect and the a box full of cider. We definitely recommend stopping and supporting this beautiful local business.

My wife, child and I went to the Apple thief for breakfast on New Year’s Day. We were greeted by the very cheerful staff and a menu that included a full range of options for both breakfast and brunch fair. I opted for The corn fitters with bacon and a side salad. My wife and son split in order of pie clips with whipped cream and a delicious apple and maple syrup sauce. Both were outstanding in terms of taste and visual presentation. Coffees and Carmel milk Shake were great! The lunch faire looks equally appetising and we will be sure to come back!

We visited in January. Such a lovely little place. The gentleman who served us and we did our tasting with was super friendly and made us feel really welcomed and comfortable. All of the ciders were really wonderful. We enjoyed a bottle of the Kingston Black with a delicious toastie and chips in their outdoor dining area amongst the trees. It was a really lovely afternoon spent here. We went home with a great little collection of ciders - I highly recommend the Braeburn Gala and the Kingston Black. We will definitely be returning.
