The partial meal I had the opportunity to taste from my breakfast menu order was excellent. Unfortunately the service was not on par. From our 2 part menu orders, the second part of the order never arrived. I waited about 20 minutes after finishing the first component of the meal before reminding the staff. They advised that the chef was busy but was onto it. After waiting another half an hour we advised the staff that we couldn’t wait any longer as we had plans to fulfil. It took further 15 minutes just to pay the bill. There was no apology for the incomplete meal, or the extended wait. We were charged for the full order regardless. I asked for the tax invoice and the staffer said sure, but was not given it. They just rushed off after processing the payment. I appreciate that it was relatively busy but the service I experienced resulted in us not returning the following day for an evening meal. Hence the 3 stars.

Hidden away in the countryside of Victoria, this rustic hotel pub is an absolute gem. After a long workday, I almost skipped the 20-minute drive, but I’m so glad I didn’t. The warm, welcoming atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home, just as you’d expect in the country. The highlight of the night? The Lamb Marbella special. Tender, flavourful, and beautifully balanced with olives, sun-dried tomatoes and a bed of carrots. It was simply marvellous. I finished off my dinner with an amazing Crème Brûlée, one of the best I’ve ever had. The top glazing was perfectly crisp, giving way to a silky, rich crème underneath, absolutely divine. With its relaxed charm, top-notch food and genuine hospitality, this place is well worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back!

What a place to meet the in-laws. Had never been to the Farmers arms before and was so surprised. The Gentleman that greeted us was very friendly, The menu is Hugh the two special boards were full with about 12 items on each board. The mixed grill was a surprise when it arrived on a tall skewer and a plate for you to put it on. Out of all the 6 meals and 5 deserts the only comment was the roast pork was a little tough, it was cut like pork steaks over 1/2 an inch thick. The deserts were very nice and all in all I would recommend the Farmers Arm Hotel to anyone and would suggest that you book as it was full. All 3 dinning rooms and seating out the front were full.

I went with my fiance for my Birthday. We had to wait to be seated and our seating was in the thoroughfare. We wanted to move but were told NO but other people were allowed to sit where they wanted to. The woman manager was rude. The music was to loud for a bistro and could barely here my partner speaking. We had to find the menus. I had fish and chips. Some of the chips were burnt and as for the lemon it was warm with some condiment on it and you couldn't even squeeze it on to my fish. I asked for some vinegar and after 5 minutes It hadn't arrived so I had to ask again. The salad was the worst I have ever had. I requested tomato and I got I tiny Roma tomato and my partner got a few. I didn't get any onion as the salad stated onion on the menu. My fiance gave me some of his. It was horrendous! Everything of the salad tasted pickled and not nice at all. My partners meal was worse than mine. We will not be back. Staying home and having vegemite on toast would of been better than the food we received. A disappointing birthday dinner and I had been so looking ...

Very disappointing Christmas Lunch, platters (2 dinner plates for 7 people) stacked with meat, prawns vegetables, one piece of pumpkin per plate, one plate with beans the other with beans and peas. Undercooked scalloped potatoes and prawns all stacked together. Zero score for presentation. 4 yes that's four, Christmas Crackers for 7 people. Deserts again all on one plate, sticky date sauce seeping over(under) pavlova, ice cream, macaroons I don't mind set menu but a small plate for each item would have been an improvement. Fortunately, my 92 year old mother who we took out from the nursing home has dementia asked 2 days after Christmas when we're we picking her up to go for lunch. Sadly for the rest of us, it's a Christmas Day we won't forget! Very disappointing my sister in law doesn't eat seafood, the fact that the seafood was plated with the rest of the food from her perspective adulterated the meat and vegetables so she ate NOTHING. They would have been better serving a Christmas Roast, like a roast of the day. Extremely ...

As a foursome my wife and I and our friends enjoyed a lovely meal at the Farmer's Arms pub in Beeac, Vic. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our table by Dot a friendly and helpful host. The pub is large but the front lounge area was quite cosy and warm on this cool Winter day. Our meals of Bangers & Mash (2), Princess Chicken and Scotch fillet and vegetables with chips were cooked to perfection with all ingredients very fresh. A good selection of wine was available and the two girls enjoyed sweets of Creme Brulee & Eton Mess. Presentation of all meals was top class and served to us expertly. Pricing is at the high end for pub fare but the atmosphere, freshness of well cooked meals and overall pleasant experience made us feel we had spent our money well. The dining area and kitchen was spotlessly clean and the dated toilet areas were also extremely clean. Basically in the middle of nowhere this pub is a jewel in the crown and we were glad to have traveled some 90 minutes by car for a wonderful lunch time experience. Highly...
