Ownsys Retro Cafe — Restaurant in Benaraby

I'm not a fan of cinnamon, in fact I hate the taste & wouldn't have thougt it too hard to get fresh doughuts tossed & coated in just plain castor sugar, hmmmm lovely with a fresh coffee but wait, no, this place don't have any sugar apparently that they can put the doughnuts in. The guy said he mixes up a big tub of sugar & cinnamon & doesn't have any plain sugar for people who don't like cinnamon. There is a rider here though, the jam doughnuts are only coated in plain sugar, no cinnamon on those babies. What? how,? If the jam doughnuts can have a plain castor sugar coating why can't the regular doughnuts? I left bemused, doughnutless & disappointed! A, ha, but next time I travelled north on the highway I cunningly pre-planned my doughnut & coffee experience bringing along a small tub of castor sugar of my own to roll my fresh hot doughnuts in. . . . . . Oh no you won't! As I drive into the vehicle stop the place is closed. Again I left doughnutless & disappointed! Come on, it wouldn't be too hard, please just have a small tub of plain sugar available for customers who don't like...

If you hadn’t jumped to the conclusion that I was parking where I’d stopped, you may have realised I was checking (very quickly) your selection then hop in car, which wasn’t turned off and wait for wife in parking area. We did drive in earlier to use dump point from our caravan that we have been touring around Oz for 6yrs, so I do know if I pulled up in a dangerous position, which it was not, If you are employed as a parking inspector, I apologise, if not, you should oversee your COVID distancing.
