Vinnie's master wok — Restaurant in Boambee East

Thought i shout myself and my hubby Chinese food tonight for our dinner so I spent $91.00 on food from this store and this is what we got burnt fried rice and the rest of the meal was cold I had to microwave the meal once I put it all on the plates to warm it back up very very disappointment as we have used this shop for a while know my husband rang the owner the owner does not wish to do anything about the problem we could not even eat the fried rice as it had a burnt taste though the whole dish and the owner would not do anything to fix the problem not even compensate at least half the money back just to bad ,my food is never cold he says but it was cold and it was not good so after spending $91.00 of this food tonight and the owners attitude to go with it for not fixing the problem does not go very well with me so that’s the end of our Chinese from this shop which is sad as well I have also seen the owner spitting on the ground while he is having a smoke while sitting in the gutter outside of the shop that is disgusting as well so for the owner not fixing our problem I think my husband is going to take the matter further with the health department and the price is just outragous . I feel the owner is not very nice when i raised problem with his food. Not buying from...

It's on par with average food court meals. I called, someone answered "what do you want", took my order, and then gave me a number. Got there, waited, and my number was called. I said thank you. Have a great night night. Literally, nothing else was said. Customer service is like 30% of what's expected for spending $75 on rice + 3 dishes. Perhaps if it had been under $50, both food quality and service could be forgiven.

Food wise, I'd encourage the chef to cut portions to a size you can pick up with chopsticks, i had to use a knife to cut it to reasonable portions before it got to my plate. The mongo beef was super sweet (it shouldn't taste ike honey beef), and satay chicken needed to be more spicy (guessing coconut vs. peanut), and the rice was bland, needing soy sauce to be added.

This place could be awesome with a few changes....

No atmosphere, dry food!! 30 minutes of calling their restaurant with no answer, finally after my call being answered 35 minutes later I was told 15 minutes for pickup, which sounded ok. However, when arriving 25 minutes after call was placed (allowing time to have the order completed) I was told "its not ready yet, probably 5 minutes" I waited a further 15 minutes till a customer came in and asked to collect the exact same order I placed, to which this customer was given fresh food from the kitchen. When I approached the staff to suggest I have the same order, why has it not been completed? The staff went back to look in their brocoli box to find my order, which had been sitting for over 40 minutes. Never again, would much rather pay $15 for delivery than buy from vinnies master wok $50 better off...
