They've got the best coffee in town, no doubt. When you swing by on weekends, expect it to be pretty packed, so it's smart not to linger for too long if you choose to eat inside. Personally, my friends and I like to grab my coffee to-go and enjoy it at Central Park nearby.

But it's not just about the coffee here; they've got a bunch of tasty bakery stuff too. I'm a big fan of their breakfast bun. And their apple turnover is just bursting with warm, cinnamon goodness.

Now, let's talk about the place itself. It might look a bit old-fashioned inside, but it's clean and cozy. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that they close a bit earlier on weekends.

To sum it up, this spot is a real treat for coffee and pastry lovers. The decor might not be super modern, but the good stuff they serve and the cozy vibes more than make up for it. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee on the run or settling in for a relaxed morning, it's a place you'll want to visit...

The baked goods are all great; the strawberry iced doughnuts and apple cream pie (fake cream) are particularly good. Unfortunately the hot chocolate is pretty bad; very watery and totally lacking flavour. (This is unfortunately pretty common with places that make good coffee; as they never really make hot chocolate, they never get good at it.) It's still definitely worth coming into the bakery, but I recommend drinking something else. They have all the standard Coke products, plus local stuff (some interesting carbonated cordials, plus Splashe Cola – which tastes like a cross between a coke and a creaming soda). Note that there's a step up into the bakery, so it's not...

Really nice breakfast, really busy and the service is great, I had a local recommendation for my Big 5 smoothie and I got to say I’m glad he did because it’s amazing, eggs Benny is always tricky when going out as some places just don’t do it well but it’s amazing here, perfectly cooked to my liking and such a good amount of sauce not to much not to little, the service is great and such friendly staff, would 100% recommend to anyone if they are passing through. My sister said they also had amazing coffee that was nice and hot, it wasn’t cold by the time she finished her meal, for the first time my sister actually finished a coffee...

Best Big Breakfast in Outback NSW & this photo is actually just 1 serve on 2 plates as I needed Gluten Free toast. The beverages were top notch too & bakery had extensive Gluten Free desserts. Hubbie says the pies are probably the best he’s had hands down. Staff were very lovely, service great & shop was clean & bathrooms nice being on site. Lucky locals have this gem in the Back of Bourke as it could easily be anywhere in any major town or city, it’s that good. You are appreciated, keep up the great work!
