RYNN'S SEAFOODS — Restaurant in Bowen

Can only share my experiance and comments in why im giving 2 stars. Thought would try new establisment location. Impressions bit out of place on the highway but well needed for the ares. Plenty of parking for all. Fake turf out the front makes the place look cheap. Entered inside was clean staff quick to greet but thats where it ended. 3 staff out the front serving with no customers. I ordered a seafood basket and a soft drink. Then sat out front and waited for my order. Was quick to come out lucky i checked my order cause some of it was missing. I went in and spole to the server, rolling eyes and shrugging shoulders like its an inconvenience. Got all that i ordered in the end the. Left and ate it on the run. Food was ok like any other fish and chipshop no wow factor. This place could do alot better there is no atmospere in this business. Staff need a lot of coaching in customer service as there was none. Needs seating inside unsure why this cant be done as there is plenty of room. There is a wholesale business that you wouldn't know about unless u were looking for it. The fresh range of seafood looks like that you would get at the local supermarket same with the frozen section. Lot of room for...

First time at Rynn’s Seafood Bowen. Not horrific, but definitely not outstanding either.

Ordered 1x piece Coral Trout breadcrumbed, 1x Piece of Emperor breadcrumbed, 6 x Calamari rings breadcrumbed, a serve of chips, with Tartar sauce and some lemon. Gluten free.

Chips, cold and flavourless… no salt. Calamari was excellent, bar breadcrumbs a little burnt. Both pieces of fish over cooked, rubbery, and breadcrumbs burnt. One piece of fish, half the filet was so thin the breadcrumbs were thicker than the fish.

And no lemon!!!

Should have checked before heading off to the beach to eat it. Would have def taken it back and asked for it to be sorted. Or refund…

So great selection of gluten free options, will possibly buy the take home and cook yourself packs.

But would not go there for a meal again. Sorry, that was a poor food for...

Thank you for doing your utmost to get Christmas lunch delivered to us, we are so grateful to have found you on the sign when driving north just before Bowen.

The ladies on a Sunday in the shop were amazing, the quality of what we brought was fabulous and the price is competitive.

So looking forward to Christmas lunch thanks to you all and those sourcing your amazing produce.

Looking forward to many more purchased in 2023.
