What a great venue! Because it was out of town, I hadn't visited before but I'll definitely be visiting again. Access is easy for people of all mobility levels. The calm ambiance which contributes to easy conversation. Lots of parking. Great food. The food includes excellent vegan dishes. The chef reportedly was vegan until arriving in Australia and so provides wonderful dishes. Great outdoor area that is mostly under cover which was great today in the rain but would be wonderful in mid summer too. On my second visit I sat outside in the sunshine with my friend and dog. Staff supplied water for my puppy and then gave her many leftovers. Food was still fabulous. Highly recommended.

I was there at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon just last week. We were passing through Bowral and thought we would stop in for a late lunch and a quick taste of the Scottish beer. But alas, the bistro was closed so no food was available for another 2 hours, and we were informed that there was no more Tennent's (Scottish Beer) on tap. They literally removed the tap the day prior. Thats a real pity about the Tennents!! Otherwise this quaint pub has a comfy country atmosphere and is probably worth it for the menu alone. The meals listed looked great. The barman was nice and regretful about the beer being gone. End of an era!

This rating is for the restaurant/food only. Lively, friendly place with large outdoor and indoor dining areas. The menu has lots of schnitzels on offer which come with chips, salad and some of thr best, creamiest gravy I've ever enjoyed! The gangster schnitzel has a great kick with the chipotle sauce. Crispy chips too and the schnitzel itself was thick with a decent coating. The pork chop was fantastic with vegetables that thankfully weren't overcooked like they so often can be, highly recommended. I'd skip the duck spring rolls as they were too close to just being vegetarian spring rolls.

This place is a must see! The decor alone is worth the visit. Tucked away in a suburban area with lot's of parking. Impressive outdoor area and even more inpressive indoor area. Cozy areas with a real fireplace. A huge collection of scottish decor, flags, frames tartan and beautiful artworks. The beer selection was great and the bathrooms are clean and roomy. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stop here on our trip. We didn't try the food but there were lots of people enjoying it.

I do not claim to be an afficianado in anything, but I do know what I like. The Avocado, Bacon & Mozzarella Chicken Schnitzel was the bomb!!! Crispy golden crumbed chicken cooked to tender perfection, oodles of (beautifully zesty) guacamole, tons of tasty bacon smothered in sticky mozzarella cheese all grilled to perfection. If I could give it more stars, I would. A great pub with a broad and varied menu with an awesome beer garden. I'll be back!

I went for a bite to eat, I walked in was greeted by a young lady, whiles she was on her break. Told me about the meat raffle later on, pointed to the specials board. I took a seat, ordered an entree, absolutely delicious, sat around for a hour or so, ordered my main, got my meat raffle tickets. Dinner was amazing. Hung around for a bit , great atmosphere. Thanks guys had a great relaxing evening. Cheers
