I can’t believe I just stumbled upon one of the best breakfast sandwiches—well, “breakfast burgers” as they call them here—at the cafĂ© in Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the hashbrown golden and delicious, and the poached egg had that perfect runny yolk I love. Even the English muffin was lightly toasted, soft enough that it didn’t cut the roof of my mouth. Honestly, it was breakfast perfection! To top it off, the coffee was spot on. What an unexpected and delightful surprise!

Took a walk to Riverside Cafe from DFO Amazon Place across the river. It was bit of exploration on our side. Didn’t find a path along the river, so walked along the main road to the Cafe. Had the obligatory coffee ☕ for ‘shock’ at not finding our preferred off road route. The Cafe was tranquil and has a beautiful view of the river. There is free WiFi and the food was good with good service. It’s a great spot to come and unwind.

Pleasant cafe with limited cuisine. Okay coffee. Friendly engaging staff, pretty quick service. Plenty of seating, even if it's wet. Parking is good. Cafe is right near the entry to the sanctuary. Views down to the river. Grassed area if you prefer a picnic blanket.

This morning, I ordered one large iced black coffee and two lattes. At the counter, I noticed a mistake in the order and confirmed twice with the female staff member that it was one large iced black coffee and two lattes. Yet, the iced coffee was still made wrong and given to me as a hot coffee. When I went back inside to clarify and explain, the female staff member unexpectedly raised her voice at me and insisted it was my mistake. This caused the surrounding customers to laugh at me. I felt humiliated, outraged, and seriously discriminated against. This treatment also left my family, including my mother who came from Taiwan to visit Australia, feeling very upset and...
