One of the highlights of our 2 night stay on Bruny Island. When we got to the bread fridge, it was empty and the sign indicated the next delivery was at 11.30am. We decided to wait given it was just after 11am and we were glad we did! By 11.15am, baker John arrived with a car load of beautiful loaves of sourdough bread and we bought both the plain and sultana sourdough. We asked John if he had any of his Anzac biscuits in his delivery and he said he was going to make it the next day (Thursday) after he finished making the day’s bread which would be delivered to the fridge on Friday mid morning.
