The original staff (blonde haired lady) is lovely and super friendly Unfortunately I've had multiple bad experiences with 2 of the others being gruff, or just blatently rude! Hospitality does not suit these 2 individuals well. They have lost a very regular customer. Wont be back. For overpriced coffees you'd think you could at the very least get some hospitality and good customer service by placing order over the phone quickly. But they insist on every visit you download an app because 'we want to cut down on talking to customers on the phone' even though it takes 50 seconds to place an order for 3 coffees (as if i have room on my phone to have an app for every business nowadays, its getting ridiculous and so inpersonal and automated, not what i pay for may as well...
Read moreWell this hidden family owned business is located in this very classic Victorian 1900 built home just outskirts of South Burnie away from rest of the CBD within industrial area but it won't disappoint you for sure. They do offer nice coffee with some sweet stuff to sell with but no kitchen or other savoury stuff. They also have this wise variety of coffee makers/ infusors grinders and barista equipment for sale inside their little coffee shop. Very warm and welcoming classical coffee atmosphere but wouldn've been better with a wood heater and a reasonable bookshelf within. Love the small arts and crafts inside tho! After visiting many of the businesses on this trail over the last few days and seeing how each business approaches their tastings, this cafe is a rear gem and is definitely a stand out on the Tasting Trail.
