I Arrived at Burrum heads bowling club for lunch at around 11:45 am for lunch with family and friends,my partner. I am Returned Veteran from Afghanistan I have Service care dog as I suffer from server PTSD and anxiety impairments On arrival the lady at reception said to me I'm not sure if your service care dog is allowed inside only guide dogs and she would check with the bar lady if it was ok I was faced with NO only outside were you can sit with your dog. being confused I followed there direction as they said it is not allowed and illegal to have my care dog with me inside my Family and friends turned up they said that they couldn't sit outside as there age and sickness wouldn't allow half of them to sit outside as we traveled a distance I found me and my Partner outside seperated from family and friends And descrimated against . Read moreWe are Members of this Bowls Club and come here often for lunch, but today being Australia Day weekend we our Son and partner came to visit so we took the to the club for lunch and was very disappointed, our Son had 300gramm steak with Dianne sauce and ordered medium well, the steak came out very well done and looked like a sizzling steak was definitely not a 300gramm steak also us three others ordered meals and all of the salads had no dressing at all we have had many meals and they always have dressing on them, plus as an extra our son ordered Aoli sauce on the side which was on our docket but not on the plate and when asking for it they said no it dosent come with the sauce and we had to argue that it is on the docket which we showed them, im not one to complain but this was very disappointing and cost us...

We are both keen bowlers, so decided to visit the BH Bowls Club this afternoon to play social barefoot bowls, and have an evening meal after. We thoroughly enjoyed the barefoot bowls. Congratulations to those who organised, and made us most welcome. After, we ordered our meals in the dining room. I decided on the Bangers and Mash from the Chefs board. When our meal was delivered I could not believe what I had been dished up. Two small dry sausages, on a bed of bland mash, served in a bowl. What a joke! And, the size was more like a child's meal.
