Colroy Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Capel

For a country town cafe this is extremely expensive. I ordered a burger with the lot which retails at around $8-9 at most rural fish and chips shops, I got charged $17.70. That is ridiculous to charge that amount. The burger itself was alright. The servers also never called us when our order was ready, and only when I enquired did they...

Asked for extra crispy chips and received normal sloppy chips, it seems like no one knows how to cook crispy chips. The fish which was supposed to be Red Emporer was flavourless and the batter had oil dripping off it. The older of the 2 women needs to to be a little bit more friendly, only saying hello to "locals"....

Very disappointed with the lack of honesty from the staff. When we inquired if we can use washrooms,the staff stated there’s none however we saw it was available and locked .This experience left a negative impression, and I hope the staff can improve their approach...
