We've wanted to try this place for years as locals. Took visitors there & and I have to say we were a bit disappointed. Staff on entry were a bit rude to begin but were still accommodating, older gentleman behind the bar were lovely. We had to ask to order after being seated for quite a while. I would not say that any of our steaks were cooked as expected, all overcooked... but still very tender & delicious. Rib topper would be better on the side as the sauce was generous & but smothered everything on the plate. Only 2 prawns in the creamy garlic topper but still yummy! Simply stunning Apr. 2019 • Family We had a pre-wedding dinner here on a Friday night and were simply blown-away with the excellent service, meals and stunning venue, (which would rival anything a big City has to offer!) The wedding the next day included the ceremony, reception and (another) dinner. The set-up was spectacular from start to end. This should be in every Town and City as it's a piece of Country Australia complete with farm tools and memorabilia. The Clydsdale horses, lake and spacious grounds only added to it's charm. Hubby and I always love the food, awesome service and management and staff's friendliness and helpfulness whenever we dine in.
