Il Carretto Pizza — Restaurant in Clunes

Was expecting a little more for a $17 pizza. Pizza was very small with hardly any toppings at all (I went to the Bexhill location). Imagine a pizza that has lost all it's toppings including all the cheese, then someone puts a few tomatoes on top and puts back in the oven and then serves to you - that is what it tasted like. The crust was very chewy and tough, sometimes crispy but very dry with virtually no taste. Expect a very very long wait 30-50 minutes in a noisy place. However everyone is very friendly, great social place for lots of young families with kids to meet, very well lit. I give two stars because of the warm and friendly people, but pizza was extremely disappointing, overrated...

Best pizza in Australia! Fortunately a pop up just around the corner from our home. Lovely sourdough bases topped with high quality ingredients cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven giving them a nice smoky flavour. Which I am more than happy to pay a few extra dollars for. Pizzas were okay. I think a better sauce could make up for the lack of topping. Tasted a bit plain - a tastier sauce again. Staff were lovely. The pizzas were served hot. Keep up the good work.
