The location is superb and it was a pleasant experience to sit outside for a drink. However, our meal was a disappointment. We paid $54 for a total of two pieces of whiting and four crumbed prawns between us and, literally, four of the thinnest pieces of calamari I’ve ever been served. We arrived in Coffin Bay Wednesday 28th Sept. the day the worst storm in SA hit. We were staying with our son Marty. We would like to thank all the wonderful staff and volunteers for looking after the community during the storm. You provided warm food, drinks, coffee and lots of communication and warmth. Coffin Bay Yacht Club is mostly run by volunteer staff. It has a nice atmosphere and also has a great range of drinks. The meals are served with disposable utensils and the meal comes in a cardboard disposable container. We had the fisherman's catch. It was nice but barely enough for the price paid.
