Back in the day this place (formally called the Amble Inn) used to have an okay pub menu and ambience and friendly attentive service. Fast forward to 2024 and the Corindi Beach Hotel is an absolute shadow of its former self. ZERO ambience, the first thing you notice is the war zone of an outdoor dining area and shredded remnants of what used to be an awning over the area. It’s a sorry sight and wreaks of neglect and lack of pride. The employees appear like they have no morale and understaffed. When asking at the bar for cocktails that were advertised (at the bar) the bar lady said there’ll be no cocktails that night as they have none of this or that and that they are too understaffed to serve cocktails. Her demeanour and the rest of the staff was flatter than my glass of lemon lime and bitters. To make matters worse my daughter’s kids burger wasn’t cooked in the middle and was raw - not pink- RAW. I had to flag this with staff and the manager because it was a major concern. The creamy garlic prawns I ordered was slop in a bowl, which the cream was congealing nicely on top of the rice. We agreed to the offer of the refund for the burger but this has been the most pathetic state of decline we have seen over the past 6 years of visiting this pub. A bulldozer may be the answer as clearly no love has been put towards this place. Dark, outdated and old. It needs a major overhaul. Whoever the owner is now, they have been barely doing the minimum to keep the joint functioning and its an embarrassment.there used to be a nicer alfresco area at the back but it’s been sacrificed to make way for a dingey pokies area. We certainly won’t waste our time and money here. A tired, rundown and unloved...

I remember when this place, formerly known as the Amble Inn, had a decent pub menu, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. Unfortunately, by 2024, the Corindi Beach Hotel has become a shadow of its former self. The first thing that hits you is the lack of ambience. The outdoor dining area looks like a disaster zone, with torn remnants of an awning hanging over it. The neglect is obvious, and it’s clear there’s no pride in maintaining the place.

The staff seem demoralized and overworked. When I asked at the bar about the cocktails advertised, the bartender informed me they weren’t serving any because they didn’t have the ingredients or the staff to make them. Her attitude—and that of the other staff—was as flat as the lemon lime and bitters I ordered.

Things got worse when my daughter’s kids’ burger arrived raw in the middle—not pink, but completely raw. This was alarming, and I had to bring it to the manager’s attention. I also ordered the creamy garlic prawns, which turned out to be a congealed mess of sauce over rice. While they refunded the burger, the overall experience was a sad reflection of how much this place has declined over the last six years.

The venue itself is dark, outdated, and clearly unloved. The once-nice alfresco area has been replaced with a dingy pokies section. It feels like the bare minimum is being done to keep the place running. It’s a far cry from what it used to be, and frankly, it’s embarrassing. Unless major changes are made, we won’t be back. The “Shamble Inn” nickname feels more...

Booked a table Thursday to dine Sat 6.30pm to arrive and find no booking, we were fortunate to get a table for 4. Staff person asks if we’re happy with a vacant table yes but very sticky can you pls wipe, proceeds to wipe qtr of table with cloth no spray, presume covid rules are not a priority, remaining table left uncleaned. Asked for piccolo but get glass of flat bubbles, which was returned. Staff argued and I felt very belittled to be told I have to pay extra for replacement upon supervisor replaced with a piccolo to be told she paid for it herself. We waited 90 mins for meals, I must say my steak was excellent, the kitchen staff need to be congratulated working under the duress of the amount of orders. This hotel has staff writing down every order in docket books unbelievable that they don’t have computerised order system. Upon writing this review I understand that there can be hiccups and patrons expectations are above reasonable but this review is certainly not about that. Very disappointing in...

Great local pub with attached bottle shop. Excellent scenery with ocean glimpses and a wee sneak of the sunset if you're there at the right time. Came for a good feed and was not let down. Had the ribs and the serving size was huge. The bourbon sauce was superb. The chips that accompanied the ribs were good too. The wife had the chicken schnitzel with chips and veggies. The shnitty was a classic and on point. The veggies were a teeny bit underdone but all brought together nicely with the complimentary gravy. The prices for the food are easy on the wallet and are great value. A soft drink off tap was a little expensive, however. Looking forward to trying more food from the menu.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday there just recently. The venue was perfect and the staff I could not speak highly enough of they did everything they possibly could to make our event great. Food was a great hit too and special thanks to the chef for our trays of delicious nibbles on arrival for our guests. Sadly we didn’t know that there was no courtesy bus for quite a few people to get back to Woolgoolga which was extremely disappointing. Perhaps the hotel would consider running a bus when functions are on or at least ensure people are aware that there is no bus service on particular nights.
