The Mallee Tree Cafe — Restaurant in Corrigin

Super disappointed with our experience here. Paid $30+ for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. The coffees are tasty but so shocked about the level of service. There was no acknowledgement of our arrival or friendliness towards us or any of the other customers waiting. Can appreciate that there may have been a shortage of staff but would have preferred an update on the timing of our items. Ended up waiting just over 30 minutes for our coffee.

Dropped in here after reading reviews on our way out of Corrigin. Well it was a ‘disappointment plus’ experience. We can’t comment on the food as we didn’t get any. After waiting at the counter for 10 minutes and not even being acknowledged (other than to hand us someone else’s coffee) we were not even said hello too. Drove an hour there to go for lunch with my wife and paid $18 for a steak burger with the lot anx some hot chips. The steak burger arrived and it was no thicker than a normal hamburger and the steak was chynobyled within an inch of its existance . Very disappointing. The chips looked like they were hand made the top half of the chips were very nice the bottom half of the bowl were all the burnt offerings from the frier and rock hard.
