We’d been told about this place & how good the quality of fish & chips were. We were also told - and we checked that the kiosk closed at 3pm. You come to this shop for one thing!!! The food!!! Fish was outstanding! The lightest and crispiest batter I’ve had in a long while. 5/5 The chips - okay 4/5. But overall - definitely highly recommend. Now … you don’t come to this shop because of fancy decor etc. It’s old, aging, has character / but don’t be put off by this. It’s all about the product!!! We ordered the chowder, and fish and chips. Initially thought the fish and chips were a little expensive, $25 for a serve, but it was more than enough for 2 people and probably could’ve fed 3!
