If you ever wondered why this place has so many 5star reviews then you'll have to go yourself.... I've always said that a sign of an AMAZING and authentic Japanese place is in the rice; Most places say they are authentic and nice but serve you long grain or basmati rice with your japanese meal....This place definitely didn't take shortcuts! If this pkace can deliver such an amazing japanese meal in a caravan then why can't everyone else! We ordered the salmon and tuna bowl and was not disappointed at all. Very fresh. Well made. Pack full of flavour. It's one of the best kept secrets in the Shoalhaven area. This place would be my go-to for Japanese of this was around the corner. Alas, we live in Melbourne though but it will always be a MUST STOP on our trips back to NSW if we are in the area

Nice shop, friendly staff, speedy service. Fresh, fresh ingredients of raw tuna and salmon. It was so delicious I had it two days in a row. Starting from $12 a bowl it's good value for money. I just wish there was a ponzu dressing option. Sometimes they have fresh oysters as well. If you're after a coffee a nice one can be found down the road from here at Cudmirrah General Store. They did Milk Lab almond milk. Will be back again next time.

Lovely components and delicious bowl. The food truck is completely closed in and it’s impossible to see what they are doing inside, which is a little worrying considering they are working with raw fish. They could open it up a little with some windows to show the kitchen a little.

Island Sushi is not only the purveyor of fine sushi/ poke bowls, they're a breath of fresh air to the cultural life of the area. Sunny, Kaika and Ariel make eating healthy, fun and interesting. When the weather is friendly, with the natural beauty of the Scibbly gums and backdrop of Swan Lake, it's an exceedingly lovely place to enjoy your meal.
